Chapter 20- Mike's POV

The Roses MIke got her in the MM's

Watching Zanobia leave the house I was now in regret of what I did.

Why did I do that? 

I just wanted to help her why she could not understand that I don't know.

But I have to fix this asap.

Trying to think of where she would go.

Zeek is over Joliet's house maybe I should try there first then her place.

Before leaving the house I check to make sure I put the alarm on and have my keys and my phone.

Once I did I left out.

On my way there I stopped at a small Flower shop that was open this morning.

I picked up her favorite red roses.

I got all the roses they had left made sure of it.

On the side I wrote a hand written note.

Now on my way over to Joliet's house.

The nerves are starting to come I know that by now if she is over there she has told Joliet what happened so I am expected to catch hell when I get there.

Just pulling into the drive way taking a deep breath before I get out this car only God knows how this is going to go.

Getting out of the car roses in hand and walking up to the door.

I knocked on the door and patiently waited I could hear commotion in the back.

When the door opened my sister appeared and her face went from 1 to 10 once she saw me.

"What the hell are you doing here Mike and I heard what you did you had no t got damn right putting your hands on that girl and..." before she could finish Zanobia came out of the kitchen.

"Well...I'll just leave yall alone."Joliet said before leaving the room.

"Mike, why are you here?"She said looking annoyed at the fact that I was even here.

"I came to apologize for my behavior earlier I know I had no right to put my hands on you but I was getting really aggravated at the fact you won't even let me help you with this situation you can't handle everything by yourself eventually you will need help."I said handing her the flowers.

"Look I get you are trying to help but if I say I am going to handle it you should respect it and leave it alone."she said throw

"You're right I should have respected your decision and left it alone."I said hoping she will forgive me.

"Can we just start over?"

"Hmm...I don't know I think we need some time apart."

"Zanobia I promise you that what happened today is not something that I do it just happened out of frustration."She was still distant.

"Let me prove it to you."I said.

"And how will you do that?"she said with a questionable look on her face.

"By you letting me take you out tonight and I promise no funny stuff, if I say anything that rubs you the wrong way just tell me and i will...."

"I will think about it."that was all she said before walking out of the door and leaving the roses I brought her on the couch.

Sorry for such a short chapter I just wanted to put something up since I have not updated in so long.

Also I am so sorry for such the delay alot has been going on but I promise that I am going to get better with my updating!!
