Chapter Twenty-Six

Gia and Alex boarded the plane and walked into the first class cabin and all the rows of separate pods. Gia loved the idea of the pods when she left London on her way home, but now she didn't like the idea of not being able to hold Alex's hand throughout the flight. They sat down in their pods and smiled across at each other. They could still talk but they were too far away to touch each other.

"Alex." Gia said and walked over to his pod sitting down in his lap, "I don't like being so far away from you for so long."

"Really?" He said raising his eyebrows and smiling.

"I wish we were back at the hotel so we could have hot, steamy sex. I want to feel you inside me." Gia whispered before kissing his neck.

"I never know what you are going to say next." He said shocked. She kissed him enthusiastically. They were happily kissing when the flight attendant came up to them.

"Miss you will have to take your seat now because we are preparing for take-off." She said in a snooty tone.

"Thank you." Gia said slowly getting up and crossing over to her seat. This pleased the flight attendant very much.

"Can I bring you anything sir?" She said looking at Alex with longing.

"No thank you." He answered, "Kæreste do you need anything?" Alex asked Gia not looking at the flight attendant.

"No thank you, not right now." Gia answered buckling her seat belt. She watched the flight attendant go back to the little kitchen and talk with two other flight attendants one man and one woman. They were looking at Alex and discussing something in a magazine. Gia was wondering if it was one of the print ads with Alex in it. Gia made a mental note to ask for that magazine later, right now Gia was feeling very tired and the plane was starting to ascend into the sky.

Once in the sky things seemed to continue to be weird with the flight attendants. They waited on Alex hand and foot asking him a million times if he needed anything or desired anything. He used that same tone he had with the girl at the restaurant, super polite and somewhat flirty. Since Gia was with Alex they were nice to her as well. Gia fell asleep quickly with all the white noise soothing her to sleep. When she woke a few hours later she noticed most of the passengers were asleep. Gia was famished. She got up and went to the bathroom just to stretch her legs which were feeling very stiff.

"May I have some hot tea please?" Gia asked the flight attendant after she came out of the bathroom.

"Sure. May I get you anything else?" She asked in a friendly tone.

"Do you have any magazines?" Gia asked.

"Sure which one would you like?" She asked.

"Oh it doesn't matter that one there will do." Gia said pointing to the one she had seen the flight attendant looking at earlier.

"You saw that earlier didn't you?" She asked sheepishly. Gia nodded her head, "I'm really sorry about that it was very unprofessional."

"What were you guys looking at?" Gia asked. The flight attendant grabbed the magazine and flipped through the pages until she found the picture they had been looking at. It was a picture of a half-dressed Alex in an underwear advertisement.

"Wow!" Gia said shocked at how amazing he looked.

"Is he your boyfriend?" The flight attendant asked.

"We're engaged." Gia answered.

"I know this is way out of bounds but can I ask you a question?" She asked.
