This should've been included in the last chapter, sorry. Anyway, here is a short add to.

Chapter 13
Natasha's POV
The trip to the doctor today has been rough on me. I am considering just asking them to stop all meds and let me die in peace. As I was contemplating that the doctor walked in.
"Hello Natasha, how are you faring today?" he asked.
"I'm fine doc, can we skip the pleasantries I really just want to get back home," I tell him snappily.
"Actually, there is a new treatment I wanted to consult with you about. As you know with cancer there is no guarantee, but over 21% of the patients that have used this has went into remission. It's combination of drugs, some to fight the cancer and some to boost your immune system. It's can be a deadly combination, but if you are willing we can start them right away," he said. This new information hit me like a ton of bricks. There was a 21% chance of hope.
"Do it," I said.
"Don't you want to hear about the-," he started but I put my hand up interrupting him.
"Just do it doctor, now," I said.
"Okay, let's get you over to a treatment room," he said.
Two months later...
Danny had still not been able to get Tricia to speak with him. Although, he was able to at least see her when she would come over to visit with Natasha, Christine, and Dhira. Danny spent his time working and helping with Natasha and taking care of Christine. He had arranged a babysitter with old lady Windemere just a block over. This took many insane demands off of everyone, having someone to help with the everyday care of the baby. The new drugs introduced to Natasha from the doctor had seemed to weaken her to a point that no one thought she would make through the night. Everyone gathered together, even Mrs. Windemere came to take care of Christine tonight; she said it was her Christian duty.
Natasha opened her eyes to see the room filled with Daniel's family. In her weakened state though there was only one person she wished to see before the good Lord took her. She knew that tonight would be her last, even with the last ditch efforts of the doctors with these new medications.
"Please, bring Christine to me," she rasp out in her frail voice. Danny rushed from the room and took Christine from Mrs. Windemere and rushed back to Natasha. He placed a pillow under her fragile arm and laid a sleeping Christine in her arms. She smiled at the baby in her arm.
"I love you sweet baby girl, your daddy and Tricia will take care of you now," she said as she looked lovingly into the baby's serene face. "Take her Dan before I drop her." Quickly Daniel took the Christine back in his arms. Cradling the baby in one arm he held Natasha's hand with the other. Natasha squeezed his hand slightly.
"Please take care of her and I need to speak with Tricia now," Natasha whispered. He nodded and soon Tricia's hand replaced his.
"I'm here," Tricia told Natasha softly.
"You promised that you will be my little girl's mother. Love her as I would've if I had been given the chance," Natasha said as she felt darkness slipping over her. Tricia felt the other woman's hand go limp.
"No! Danny do something," Tricia yelled. Soon an ambulance was called and Natasha was carried away in the night by sirens and lights. The family cried together for the impending loss they knew would occur to each of their lives and even more so for the baby who would never know her mother.
