Bethany's POV:
I followed Sierra onto the front porch of her house.

"I don't know about this..."

"Bethany it's gonna be alright I promise."

I nodded as Sierra opened the door. I followed her into the house as the coldness hits my body.

"Do you want to see Cameron?"

I shook my head as she nodded.

She took me upstairs into the guest bedroom that I stayed at a few weeks ago.

"Here put your stuff down, I'll go make some food."

"No it's okay."

"You sure?"

"Yea."

We both walked downstairs and I sat at the kitchen counter as Sierra went to grab a drink.

I'm praying Cameron isn't home. Even though I miss him a lot, it just wouldn't feel right to see him.

Sierra came and handed me a bottle of water.

"Thanks."

"No problem."

We talked about different things for a bit.

"You should really go back to school."

"Yea right." I said rolling my eyes.

"No I'm serious, if you don't moms going to make you anyways."

"She can't force me, I'm past 16 I can drop out if I want."

"Bethany, don't let what happened get in your way of having a career and a future life."

"Sierra, thank you for caring, I really meant it but I can handle my own life."

"No you can't! Look what happened to you! Right now you need someone to guide your life in the right direction."

I sighed as I bang my head on the table.

I heard some footsteps walking down the stairs.

I put my head up revealing Cameron. He was in shock at first then I suppose anger took over.

"What is she doing here?"

"She's staying here."

"No, she can't."

"Yes she can."

"No."

"Yes she can Cameron, mom would want her to."

He turned to face Sierra.

"No she wouldn't! She was the cause of her mothers death!"

"CAMERON!"

He soon looked like he regretted saying that.

"I I didn't mean it like that."

"No it's fine, your right it's my fault."

I got up and turned to Sierra.

"Thanks for letting my stay but I can't."

"Bethany."

I walked past Cameron, mumbling a "I'm sorry."
