Chapter 7

--Ella's POV--

 Me and my wolf woke up in a good mood this morning. Today was Ethan’s birthday and the day we become mates! Turns out I woke up really late, it was about 11:30 when I woke up. I could sense that he was running towards the house probably following my sent. I quickly brushed my hair and teeth and put on a lace tank and some booty shorts. I casually walked down stair to meet Ethan. We bumped into each other but he didn't give a shit. I started to talk to him when my wolf howled saying that his mate, our mate, was not here for us.

'He's looking for someone else that’s not us.'

'What do you mean? Who is her looking for?'

'He still thinks that we're not his mate. He's following the scent of some on who is here a lot.'

'That still doesn’t tell me who she is.'

'He's looking for Van, but Van isn't of age yet do he doesn’t know yet.'

That was it for me, I ran upstairs and into my room locking the door behind me. That bitch! How could she? She stole my mate and doesn’t care because she's not of age yet! She will pay for that. I can steal some of her clothes and other wearable items and wear a moon stone necklace to mask my scent tonight. Then I will be his mate a future Luna.

It was only 1:00 when Van finally showed up with the decorations for the party. I asked if I could decorate while she call people. She had no problem with doing that and went upstairs to start inviting people to the party. She and Ethan had already made a list of people who are sure to come. Like me, Van, Ethan, Ethan’s family, most of the pack.

By the time I was done decorating, Van came down with a new piece of paper and said this were all the people coming tonight. I looked at the number of people and it said max 500. I nodded at her and she left to go dinner with Ethan. I cringed my nose in discus and went back to setting out the food. In the end I had two tables of canned sodas, five of ship, and ten of other snack/party like food. Then in the middle of my semi-circle of food, I had Ethan’s birthday cake.

Now that I'm done, I walk up the stairs and to into Van's room to 'borrow' some of her clothes. I put on a tight dark royal blue tank with a cream loose knit sweater over it, and a pair of black shorts to match. I went into her bathroom and brushed my hair with her brush a couple of times. I looked though her jewelry box and picked out a pair of smoky quartz earrings and a bracelet to match. I went back to my room and put on my new moon stone necklace, it's a new moon because it’s a very dark color instead of a light color like a full moon stone. There, now I have masked my natural scent and now I smell like Ethan’s mate.

Now I went to the bathroom and applied a little bit of dark blue liquid eyeliner, and a light coat of a cream lip stain. By the time I was done I looked at the clock and the party was to start in about a minute. I quickly went down stairs and just as I reached the bottom floor somebody was knocking at the door. I ran over to the door and opened it. There stood most of the school and my pack. I bowed my head in respect for the alpha and Luna and then invited everyone in saying "don't eat anything yet, wait for the birthday boy." Everyone nodded and went right in and mingled with everyone else.

By the time everyone was settled in and comfortable I felt Ethan and Van on the front steps. I yelled at everyone to hide because Ethan was here. I turned off the lights and made a dash for my room. I didn't want Ethan to find out I was his mate just yet. I wanted him to have some time with his family and pack.

After a while of waiting I went down stairs to see the party in full swing, even some of the younger teachers in training came to celebrate. I made my way down stairs quickly keeping an eye out on Ethan’s introducing Van to his parents. I watched carefully as they walked away from his parents laughing. I made sure I walk very close to him but not make any body contact. I watched out of the corner of my eye as he caught Van's scent and told her something before she shoved him and he follow the scent. I went outside and waited for him with other people making small talk with some other girls from the pack on the couches outside. I saw Ethan enter from the corner of my eye and could feel him burning holes in the back of my head, He excused the two girls and went to sit cross from me. We stared at each other for what felt like forever, then he finally broke the silence.

"I'm sorry Ella, I will tell you this for the last time. We are not mates. I'm confused as to why you smell like my mate, but you and I do not share any sparks. I'm sorry"

I couldn't believe what he was saying. I decided to prove him wrong. I stood up and waked over to him and kissed him with all the passion I could. What was he talking about? My wolf purred at what we did and I definitely felt some sparks flying as we kissed. He pushed me off and said he still didn't feel any sparks at all. I was going to get Ethan’s and become alpha female no matter what. The only thing that was in my way was Van. So problem solved, I'll just tell daddy that I need her removed one way or another and then Ethan will be mine.

I ran back inside and into my room not looking at anyone. I didn't want them to see that I was crying. I grabbed my cellphone and jumped out of my window making sure no one saw me. I used my werewolf speed to run far enough away no one who notice me in any way. I pulled my phone out and speed dialed my dad.

"Sweetie? Is everything okay at school? Today's Ethan’s birthday if I remember correctly. So are you two mates now and we can combine the packs?" My dad is the alpha of the Red moon pack, the second largest pack in the world. Ethan’s the alpha because the school is on his territory.

"No daddy. He rejected me for some other hybrid girl in our house and she's not even 15 yet but they always hang around. I even masked my scent to match hers and he still rejected me. It's all because of the girl Van. It's all her fault!"

"Oh sweetie, don't worry you will be Ethan’s mate and the strongest Luna in the world. One way or another. Should daddy remove this girl Van from school and have your mom get the witch to get some charms ready?"

"Yes daddy that would make everything better."

"Okay I love you, I have to go right now if you want me to get this in action within a couple of days."

"Okay bye I love you too."

With that I closed my phone and started making my way back to the house with a huge grin on my face. By this time in a week, Van will be gone and Ethan will be my mate.

♫A/N- Jelly much? Sup peoplz? How is your summers going, this is my first week off, graduated last Thursday (I have officially been an 8th grader for one week!). My summer is okay so far, still sick, but I start camp next week at the university with one of my friends! I wonder what Van's going to do when October comes around and she finds out, unless someone tells her before that day comes??? BTW, would you like to be friends with Ella? Anywys, next update on Thursday most likely! Sorry for short chapter, try harder when I finally get better ^_^.
