Chapter 3

I stare in confusion and turn back to look at Ethan who's now composed himself to look normal again. I lift an eyebrow and he holds his hand up saying 'don’t worry about it, just leave it alone'. He sits up a little and looks past me at the girl.

A causally as possible he starts talking to her, "Hi Ella, how have you been? Long time no see."

I silently laugh at how hard he's trying to look and sound casual. I turn to see the girl start to open her mouth to talk.

"I've been good Ethan. Who's your new friend?"

"This is Victoria, Van this is Ella."

"It's nice to meet you Victoria."

"Ella, its nice seeing you here, your here to?"

Ella nods and continues the conversation as I just sit there awkwardly listening. "Ya, this is my house. Are you both in the house to?"

"Yes, we're both in the house along with you."

I stand up interrupting the conversation. "I'm going to go get some more water. Be right back. Okay?" I say looking over at Ethan. He nods and I head down stairs and fill up my water bottle.

I start to head up stairs when I hear Ethan talking. I can't quite make out what he's saying, but I can tell that he's not in a good mood any more. I can also hear Ella arguing with him about something. I decided not to interrupt their fight and go straight though the hallway not bothering to look in the double doors that lead to the living room. I good straight to my room to finish putting away my stuff. When I'm about done I hear a knock on the door.

"Come in"

"Hey Van, I thought that you just went to go and get some more water. Not to disappear into your room and leave me alone with Ella again."

"I didn't want to interrupt your guys’ argument."

"Ah, you heard that? I'm sorry"

"Don't be, I only able to make out that you guys where arguing. I couldn't hear what you were really saying."

"Oh, okay. Sorry about that. I've made you feel awkward twice so far today."

"It's not your fault that I felt that way. I just felt awkward when she ran up to you in the gym and kissed you, and when she happened to be in our house with us. It's not that bad."

"Ya, sorry about that whole kiss thing."

"It's O-K. Bedside’s I'm more interested in the story be hide you guys knowing each other."

"Okay. Ella is a hybrid from my pack. She's a hybrid of a werewolf and a sprite. She is convinced that I'm her mate since I'm going to be alpha soon. I know that isn't true because her wolf see's me as her alpha not her mate. So she's been trying to make me think otherwise."

"I would feel sorry for you but that's just a little too funny." I trying to hold back a laugh.

"Ha ha. Yes, it’s very funny. Well, I think I'll go and finish unpacking my stuff. See you tomorrow."

It was only 9:00, but I didn't care, I was tired. I went to bed not caring about what had happened today. Tomorrow I would start my classes and all my dorm mates would be there at dinner. I imagined my schedule before I went to sleep and thought about where all the class rooms where located and the quickest way to get there without flying before I fell asleep.
