I ran through the hospital hall, mom trailing right behind me, apologizing to the nurses as we went."Layla! Slow down. He's still there. Don't worry." I didn't care. I just wanted too see him. I finally reached his room, running in, seeing Wendy standing near the bed, Kurt laying there, holding his stomach. I walked up to the bed, seeing the paleness of his face, and the bags under his eyes.
"Hi Kurt.." He looked up at me, smiling a little.
"Hi Bean Bean." I gently sat at the end of the bed, holding his hand.
"Are you okay?" I looked up at Wendy, a questioning look on my face. She shook her head a little.
"He hasn't been eating like he should Bean. But the doctors will make him better. Don't worry sweetie." I sighed, looking at Kurt again. Wendy looked at mom, walking out into the hall with her, leaving Kurt and I alone. Once they left, he looked at me, a slight smile on his lips.
"They had to X-Ray my stomach earlier. It was cool." I grinned a little, then sighed.
"You haven't been eating either?" He looked at me, confused.
"You too? Why Bean?" I sighed, looking out the door, seeing Mom standing there.
"Moms never home anymore. And dad never comes over. He never calls me." I looked away from her and back to Kurt, trying to grin. He rubbed my hand with his, his eyes tearing up, along with mine.
"But, I'm not worried about that. I'm more worried about you." He sighed, relaxing some.
"I should be okay. My stomach just won't stop hurting. It hurts so bad..." I gently got up on my knees, crawling up the bed, laying down next to him, my head resting on his shoulder.
"Please get better Kurt. I need you." I closed my eyes, feeling safe and sound. I knew it wouldn't last....
