"Okay okay okay! KC... what's her name??"

Kurt and I sat across from each other at McDonalds as I grinned from ear to ear at seeing him so fucking happy for once.

He's found someone that makes him smile like this. So she must be super amazing.

He grinned a little at me as he chucked slightly at my face.

"Her names Tracy. And she's amazing Bean.... we both love rodents. Which is amazing because I don't want to get rid of Kitty."

I smiled a little at him thinking about that little guy. Kitty is Kurt's pet rat and he's had Kitty since birth. He's actually really cute.

"Awwww! I like her already. So did you guys just start seeing each other?? Or did I miss something because i swear we talk everyday..."

He just laughed, that cute smile of his lighting up his face, warming my heart. Just hearing him laugh makes my day. My week even.

My best friend has finally found someone that appreciates him for who he is. Kurt's such an awesome dude and he deserves this.

"Yeah.... we just started dating. It's all new for me Bean. It took me so long to realize she had an interest in me.."

I smiled a little as I softly put my hand over his, seeing the little smile on his lips.

"Who wouldn't have an interest in you Kurt?? You're fucking incredible! You're Kurt fucking Cobain!"

I didn't realize how loud I screamed that until Kurt and I both looked around at everyone, seeing their stares which only made me die laughing along with Kurt.

"Everyone heard you Bean! Kurt rules man!"

I looked up at Shelli from the counter, sticking my thumb up at her grinning.

Yet another awesome girl. She dates Krist and she became my friend within days of meeting her.

And she gives us free food everytime we come in. Can't beat it!

I looked back at Kurt to see his gaze trained on the table, making me chuckle.

"Sorry. I thought I'd just make that announcement to the world. That is all!"

He rolled his eyes as a smile creeped up on his lips, making me grin.

"But seriously Kurt, I'm super happy for you. I am...."

He smiled a little, patting my hand, his cheeks slightly red.

"I can always count on you Bean... you're always happy for me. You're the best girl I've ever met in my life..."

I looked at him with my eyes wide. Someone actually thinks of me like that...?

I smiled a little as my eyes watered from his words. I am too damn emotional lately. I really need to get this shit in check.

"And you're the best guy I've ever met! And that will never change Cobain. Never. You're my best man. How could anyone replace you?"

We both jumped up from the table as we hugged each other tightly, my heart racing.

I'm just so happy he found someone...

"I'm just so glad to finally meet you! Kurt has talked non stop about you. And I can see why."

Tracy grinned at me as we all sat around the table at her place, laughing like crazy at all the stupid shit we've talked about.

"I know! Kurt has talked about you a lot as well. It's nice to put a face to a name."

I grinned, feeling content. She's such an amazing woman! She has a nice place and she treats Kurt like royalty. She's perfect....

And she lives in Olympia. So this drive was so fucking nice. Finally to be in a new place which I know Kurt would love. He's been so ready to get out of Aberdeen and I don't blame him.

Nothing but shitty stuff has been happening for us all there. And to get out will be great.

We basically sat around for the rest of the night just listening to random records like the Beatles or the Meat Puppets. Or anything Kurt found that was amusing to him.

We drank. We laughed. It's nice to just have a connection with people like this. And I also couldn't help but notice the way they're with each other.

They would look at one another and smile like they've won the lottery. And I just sat back and watched, grinning from ear to ear at the little glances or touches they'd give each other.

They're so fucking cute together!

She's one lucky lady... and I'm so happy he found someone like Tracy.

The future might be bright for Kurt... I really hope so.
