"He's amazing Bean! Seriously."

Kurt had been getting into music from the start of fifth grade. And now we're both in seventh grade, and he's playing with his schools band, The Monte.

He played the drums. I remember the first time I saw him, he was running down the sidewalk, beating on a drum.

And now he's really playing it.

I looked at my little sister Sara, seeing her and Kim talking.

They've been close since day one. Like Kurt and I.

I grinned, watching Kurt beating away on the drums, grinning.

That's one thing I've always noticed. Music makes him so happy.

I typically don't watch basketball games, but I'd go to any Kurt would be playing at.

After the band was done, I jumped up, clapping so hard Kim and Sara laughed at me. Even Don and Jenny laughed really hard.

My face grew bright red, looking down at Kurt, seeing him waving up at us.

And then he winked at me and my heart seemed to stop, my eyes going wide.

Oh, he's getting cocky now?

I kinda like it.

I looked down at Don and Jenny, seeing Jenny's eyebrows wiggling up down, making me roll my eyes as I laughed slightly, my cheeks going red.

I swear Cobain....

I walked down the bleachers, seeing Kurt coming up them right in front of me as a smile came to his face, making me grin right back at him.

"Kurt! You were amazing!"

I hugged him, kissing his cheek.

I pulled back, grinning a little, feeling my face heating up as he smiled a little, looking down slightly.

"Thanks... Do you really think so?"

I looked at him, surprised. Are you serious...?

"Well yes! Music is definitely your thing Cobain."

He laughed as he hugged me once more, making me smile in happiness.

"Meatball of the Month"

Kurt is a seventh grader at our school. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. He thinks school is alright. Kurt's favorite class is band and his favorite teacher is Mr. Hepp. His favorite food and drink are pizza and Coke. His favorite saying is "excuse you." His favorite song is "Don't Bring Me Down" by E.L.O. And his favorite rock group is Meatloaf. His favorite tv show is "Taxi" and his favorite actor is Burt Reynolds.

I put the newspaper down as a huge smile came to my face, seeing one on Kurt's as well.

"You're so awesome, you're on newspapers now!"

Kurt grinned at me, looking down at the newspaper.

I couldn't be more happy for Kurt. He's amazing.
