Chapter Fourteen: One-day Holiday Getaway!

POV: Annika

Yey! It's a holiday from school. I missed going shopping so I invited Suzy to go with me.

"Hey Suzy, where is the nearest shopping mall/center here?"

"Uhm... In Pyxis City, two towns from here. Why?

"Let's go shopping? My treat." I smiled.

"Huh? I would love too, but I have rehearsals later."

"Aaaw. But it's holiday. We supposed to have fun."

"Sorry Nika, ask others. Oh, by the way, Zoe and Luanne left earlier for their group activity. Better ask Zieg."

"O-kay."

So I went to Zieg's side, which is sleeping in the couch. It's almost past nine in the morning. Why he's still asleep?

"Hey, Zieg."

He was struggling to move his body to face me. "Uhm?"

"Let's go shopping," I said as I projected my 'puppy face'.

"Me? Shopping? You got to be kidding me."

Oh right. Boys don't like to go shopping. They just don't understand what a girl like me needs. Yes, people, it's a NEED, not a WANT!

Nah, I'm just kidding.

"Ah sorry. Please go with me. I promised we will not last long."

"I'm tired. We had a basketball practice last night, you know."

"Please, please?" I pleaded. "My treat."

"What did you just say?"

"Huh? I said, my treat."

"Okay. Wait for me, eh? I'll just to take a shower."

Pssh. That's the only magic word to convince him?

After a few minutes....

"Okay, I'm done. Let's go?" He asked.

"Yeah, let's go."

"Wait, wait. You don't have to disguise yourself or something? It's a crowded place, y'know."

"Ah yea, thanks for reminding."

So I got a cap and my Ray-ban glasses. We took the train because he said it's the fastest way to go there. Oh ghad, this will be my first time to ride a train here. I'm so excited.

Finally the 11:00 AM arrived and we are on board. Fortunately, the train is not full. We just got a seat and as soon as the train left the station, I just enjoyed the view outside. It was awesome!

We set foot in Vermillion Mall, here in Pyxis City. To my surprise, most of my favorite boutiques have branches here. Very sugoi!

POV: Zieg, AZ

What the hell? I truly regret now that I signed up for this. In the span of two hours, we were just in the third boutique. This girl is untiring! I wonder if she is hungry because I am! I don't even took my breakfast earlier because I assumed that we will eat as soon as we get here but... it didn't go that way.

I'm outside of this boutique called, 'Trendy'. I'm currently holding her five paper bags that contain shoes, dresses, make-ups and some jewelry she bought in the previous stores. Does she have to attend a party or a fashion show? This is so many!

I now questioned our friendship. Am I her friend or her slave? Goddamnit!

She finally went outside from that store and approached me.
