Ziegfried woke up in the morning in his usual time, but not in his usual place. He's stuck in the hospital since that fateful incident. He's still under the observation of the doctors. The pain of his wounds and bruises are starting to subside. However, he's been terrorized by a series of headaches until now.

The hospital people advised him to stay for another week or two. Even he disagreed, because staying in his hospital room is too damn boring and made him sicker, he has no choice. He thought it's for his own good. And lately, he's been missing a lot of lessons in different subjects. To make the situation worse, their First Finals Examinations is fast approaching.

The police are now investigating his case to know what really happened. Unfortunately, there are no leads so far. As for their place, the village officials finally took action to the problem of their streetlights at night and added some security around the area. It's sad to think that they just made actions after what happened to Zieg. They could've prevented that.

Despite all his damning experiences as of late, his friends never left him. They are more supportive than ever lead by his younger sister, Zoe, and Annika, who presented herself to share her notes for the day to Zieg for him to catch up for their lessons.

Every day after classes, some of his friends, former and current classmates, SC officials and teammates visit him. It's like a mini-party to what's going on every time someone who entered his room. At least at that point of the day, where the majority of his time are wasted just staring the four corners of the room, he is happy seeing them wearing their smiles. He is not used for this kind of attention though he is grateful that there are so many people who care about him.

His nurse, Nurse Joy, finally arrived for her daily round. She greeted Zieg, "Good morning Ziegfried!"

"Good morning Nurse Joy!" Zieg greeted back.

"Are you feeling okay?" She asked while checking Zieg's wounds and bruises.

"Yes, nurse."

"Say, Zieg, you are Annika's boyfriend, right? I saw your pictures the other day. It's a shame that I just recognized you today."

"Oh, no, no. We are good friends. I just met her this school year and we are in the same class. And our family also knows each other. That's how we met."

"I see. It's pure rumor isn't?"

"Yes, nurse."

"I see... Since she's your friend, will she sign me a magazine, who's she is the cover, through yours?

"Oh sure, sure. Let us see what I can do. She's not visiting lately, though."

"It's okay. I'll wait. I'll give you the magazine later. Thanks!"

Annika just finished compiling and organizing her notes for today. Recently, she's too busy in producing notes for his friend, Zieg.

"Okay, done," she said as she put a bunch of papers to a file case. She will then give it to Zoe, who always goes to the hospital after class.

Aimee teased her, "Woah. What an effort!"

"This is only I can do for him as of now especially our examinations are next week!"

"He will do well," Aimee assured. "Written exams are his thing. Nothing to worry about. These things are a very big help, though."

She noticed that Nika kept on producing notes for Zieg but not give it personally to him. "Why to wait for Zoe if you can give it to him personally?"
