POV: Annika
We were on our way to the Student Council Office. I'm starting to feel comfortable with Aimee.
"Woah. You're very tall. How I wish I have the same height as yours," she said. "What do you do in order to achieve that?"
"Hmm... I don't know. Genes maybe?"
"Is that so? Life is so unfair!"
"Huh? Why?"
"Ah, nothing. I just want to be tall like you. Do you think I still have a chance?"
"Uhm. Maybe? But wait, what's wrong with you? You are great just the way you are!" I said encouraging her to stop thinking negatively about her.
"You think so?"
"Yes."
"Okay then. I'll take it. A "star" just gave me a compliment. Who am I to disagree?"
I only managed to laugh. I can't help it. She has the ability to make a lively conversation. As expected to our SC President.
"What made you decide to study here? I'm just curious," she asked all of a sudden. "Are you still active in 'show business'?"
"I'm under hiatus... For my reason, Hmm..." I paused. "To cut the long story short, it's for my 'personal growth'."
"Hmm? Personal growth you say?" she said while acting that she is thinking deeply. "I don't know what you are talking about."
I giggled. I get it. She was kidding.

WE finally reached the Student Council Office. The room is clean and organized as expected. It has some kind of "Reception Area" for the guests, mini lockers, sealed shelves, mini-kitchen, few cubicles for some members and two long tables with chairs in it that I think it is their activity area.
"Make yourself at home Annika," Aimee said. "I think Suzy is on her table - right there."
"Okay, thanks," I said while she went to her table that have her name in it.
In Suzy's table, I saw her with papers and a ballpen in her hands.
"Woo - looks like our VP is busy huh." I teased.
"Shut up. I'm busy," she said.
"Woah, what a b*tch."
"Language please. - Pft."
We both giggled and I said, "I'll wait for you there.", pointing to the 'Reception Area'.
"Okay. I'm almost done."
When she's finally done, she poked from behind while I am sitting comfortably in the couch with my phone.
"Hey, let's go."
I stood up, "Okay."
Suzy faced Aimee in her table, "Hey Pres. - we're heading out, you come?"
Aimee temporarily stopped to what she was doing, "Nah, I'll wait for Mark here. You guys can go."
"Ah, I almost forgot. AZ just submitted his 'proposals' while you were outside. I put it in your drawer."
Aimee drew something from her drawer, "Ah this? He timed it perfectly huh, submitting when I'm not around."
Submitting when she's not around?? Wait-whaat?
"Yeah, by the way, we gotta go," Suzy said.
"Take care! Nice to meet you again Annika." Aimee said goodbye.

Suzy and I were in the hallway. I'm still thinking what just I heard.
I tried to ask Suzy, "What does Aimee mean by that?"
"By what?"
"That AZ timed it perfectly-something. Is he avoiding Aimee?"
"Ah. Secret."
"Eh? Tell me please?"
"It's a long story."
"Whatever. I want to know!" I demanded.
"Okay. I'll tell you later."

POV: Ziegfried (AZ)
I finally arrived in the Gymnasium. I had a quick stop in the SC Office to submit my 'Programs/Activities Proposal' for this school year. Each member of the Student Council had to submit it. But wait... How do I become a member? It's simple; I was elected as Class chairman of Class 12-2A. I don't want it, at first, but I realized I must challenge myself to be a better man. Sounds corny, right? Plus they elected me, it means they have faith in me. I don't want their 'trust' in me be in vain. I must do my best to fulfill my responsibilities.
Aside from being a student leader, I am also a member of the school's basketball varsity team. Ball is life dude.
I saw my teammates warming up and having shooting drills.
"Yo!" I greeted Kyle and the rest of the squad.
"Well, well well, looks who's here? Mr. Consistent finally arrived. You are late consistently." Kyle teased me.
"There is a saying, 'It's better to be late than never." I defended.
"Oh f*ck off. I heard that BS a lot of times from you."
"For real? When?"
"PRRTTT!" we heard a whistle from the coach. "GUYS. CENTER COURT! NOW!"
We gathered around the center court with Kyle and the Coach in the center. Kyle was on the center because he is our team-captain. It was an obvious choice because he is our 'Ace player'.
"Guys listen up. As your team-captain, I need someone who I can trust the responsibility on leading the team with me. I need someone who is responsible, flexible and the most important is he loves the game like I do."
Woah. Kyle is that you? Am I seeing a new Kyle? Geez, he acts like a leader quickly huh. Well, he must be. He handles a great responsibility in the team.
"After I talked to most of you, we all agreed to this one," he continued. "Let's all welcome - our new 'vice team-captain' - Andrei Zeigried!"
Everyone applauded - except me. I was like: WTF?
"Huh? Who? Me? Why?"
"Yeah you!" Kyle said.
"WHY??? There are so many better players than me. And besides, I don't play much last year because of my injury."
"We know. But we admire your determination to recover - and to get better. Your 'work ethic' is contagious to the team."
"Huh?"
"Are you in?"
"Do I have a choice?"
"You know you don't have."
