Dracula's POV:
I felt bad for leaving Olivia alone, but I thought that it was best for her, to be alone with her friend for a moment. She'd suffered so much loss, confusion and she cried so many tears, she was certainly going to break if we pestered her any longer. I cleaned up the decorations, or what was left of them, and put them in the attic until next year, this year did not go as planned... Not at all...
I checked in Mavis' room and saw one of my daughters sitting reading the book her mother gave her,
"Mavy, can you please go to sleep now? The sun is up, Mouse. I don't want you getting hurt..." She nodded with tired eyes and yawned, "Night, Daddy..." She whispered getting into her usual sleeping position, I grinned from ear to ear. It was just like the old times, when everything was simple, there was one thing concerning me, however; Olivia was no where to be seen! There was only one place she could be, still with Griffin.
I hurried down the stairs and knocked lightly on the scratched wooden door- whatever happen to Griffin, it wasn't easy to look at.
"Sweetfang, are you in hear?" No reply, "Olivia?..." The door was hanging on by one hinge and opened quickly, I stumbled in. "Oh..." Olivia had her hands wrapped around the bloody body and was snoring quietly, I wasn't sure wether to pick her up or not, so I stood there for what felt like hours, until I began to tear up slightly. What if my children died? I'd be so lost! And after finding out about Martha living under cover for 118 years, I began to wonder if she told stories about me to Olivia. Surely she must have, why wouldn't she? Either way, I was glad to see and be lucky enough to meet her, I felt like I left her out most of the time, though.
I should've celebrated her especially, but I didn't, but at least she had Griffin. Of all the monsters I knew, I'd definitely pick Griffin to look after my kids, Wayne, obviously, my second choice. But now Griffin was gone... All I had left was the remaining members of my family and my best friend. Like I said a long time ago, I've got no trust remaining....
