Oliva's POV:
I ran away devastated, still wearing my Mum's dress. Mavis didn't even know her, and there she was- motionless, covered in blood, just laying there in the middle of the woods with a stake puncturing her heart. Just when everything seemed perfect, it all came tumbling down. I found the present in her handbag, perfectly folded with my name on. I sat down next to my parent's corpse and wept. There were so many questions I wished I'd asked her, and now, it was too late. Our whole family could be reunited, all of us. I had been kicked out of the family, it seemed and my mother was dead. My father was a seemingly loving man who my sister hated. Mavis... I had mixed feelings about her now. I thought she was the ideal sister, but she was just like everyone else. My head spun, I'd broken everything, including myself.
"Aww. Poor little, broken girl. How adorable." A mysterious voice called out from the darkness, "You must be so lost! Why don't you come with me for a moment, girl? I'll explain everything." The voice was not usually something you'd trust, but it was right, I was lost, I was broken, I was destroyed and I needed answers. I stood up, looked at my Mum, her blood had soaked into the ground, stood up and walked in the direction of the stranger.
"Good, good. Come, Olivia" I gasped, how did he (it was a male voice) know my name? What was going on? I knew I should've never left the hotel, but when I turned around, the woods only seemed like a black abyss that I'd never find my way out of. I had to keep going.

Finally I decided to speak up, "W-who are you? Where are you taking me? What's go-..."
"Shush! You ask too many questions. Don't worry we'll sort that out very soon." Even more thoughts circled my mind. "Please. Can tell me where we're going?"
"No."
"Oh..."
"So... The party didn't go so well, huh?" He sounded as if he wanted to start a normal conversation. Nothing about this was normal! I just wished I knew who he was. A tear rolled down my cheek as I remembered my own party. But how did he know about it? He wasn't one of the monsters who I met...
"Speak up then, girl! I'm very intrigued by you, since your new to the family." I shuddered, he was clearly a stalker who had completely tricked me, I was so gullible...
"Don't bother talking then. And don't bother turning back, either. You'll die." He said seriously, "I promise you I'm not a creep. I really do have answers."
"O-okay... I'll trust you..." What other choice did I have? He had the answers I desperately needed. Even though I couldn't see him, I felt a smirk form on his face, he had me right where he wanted me.

We travelled for hours and hours. The only company I had was his deep, rumbling voice. Just when I thought the journey would never end he yelled, "STOP! We're here..." I looked up and saw we were back at the hotel? I stood there confused. Why was I back here?

"Here's all the answers  you'll need..." I felt a hand on my shoulder, but didn't see one so I leapt back and screamed.
"Whoa, whoa! Chill kid! It's just uncle Griff!"
"Uncle... Griff... Right...." I had no idea what or who he was but I just dealt with it.
"I'm the invisible man." He whispered into my ear and then I saw his glasses and it all made sense. But Uncle Griff, really? Anyways, I was really frightened to go back in there, what would Mavis think? What would Mavis do? My Dad walked out slowly, I guessed Mavis had yelled at him too.
"Welcome to Hotel Transylvania. Sorry the party's over... You missed it..." He never even looked up to see who it was, so 'Griff', being the jokester he was, decided to test Dad's hearing skills.
"Oh, well! We'll come back next year... C'mon LIV." I couldn't help but chuckle slightly at the way he exaggerated my name, despite him scaring me before, I could see an incredible friendship forming between us.
My Dad murmured something under his breath, something only he could understand. Then, in a fake accent, I shouted, "Yeah. Let's go, G!" This made my Uncle, and new best guy friend, laugh almost hysterically. Once we had entered the woods, we both laughed like maniacs, "G, really?" He said through fits of laughter, "Oh, by the way. Sorry if I frightened you with the... Hand on shoulder thing."
"And the stalker thing, G..." I forever jokingly called him G from then on.
"Stalker thing?" His glasses made a confused-eye shape.
"You know... When you said 'I have all the answers you neeeeeeddddd'?" I imitated him mockingly, not doing a very good job.
"Huh? I never said that, I only turned up when you were at the hotel, looking pretty terrified." Fear shot through my body,
"Y-you're joking, right? RIGHT?" I started to panic even more as I saw his glasses shake.
"Oh... Okay... You go along, I'll be in soon." He obidently went away and I then allowed myself to break down.

"Y-you're just imagining things, Liv.

Just imagining things...."
