Griffin's POV:
"I only turned up when you were at the hotel, looking confused." Her face dropped. She looked like she was losing her sanity, something I didn't want to be involved in so I didn't hesitate to go inside when I was instructed to. I felt bad for Drac, and for Liv. When I heard her mother was Martha and she had just been killed, I felt like I needed to put a smile on her face.I went inside and consoled Drac the best I could, Mavis was pretty rough on him. I just wished I was there when Frank betrayed Drac, that way I wouldn't have to upset anyone asking about it. I went up to see Mavis, Drac said I could be the twins' 'uncle' whilst Wayne was their Godfather- what a surprise! I knocked on Mavis' bedroom door, no answer. She probably wanted to be alone at the moment, so I left her, she'd speak when she wanted to speak.
When I reached the bottom of the stairs I saw Wayne, as per usual, all over Drac, I sighed, sometimes I swore that wolf loved Drac... Even Drac was getting fed up of him now and I couldn't help but laugh when Drac grunted, "Okay, pal. I get it! Go away now." He had that 'I'm trying not to make you mad but.... PLEASE!' look about him, and that was really amusing!
"Alrighty, Wayne. I'll get you off of him..." I murmured, a mischievous grin growing on my face. I took off my glasses and placed them on a stool. I snuck over to the two men, holding in a laugh that was furiously trying to escape. I patted Wayne's head, then his leg, then his back. A mix of anger, confusion and fear showed on his face, it looked like Drac was about too burst into hysterical laughter- I think he knew it was me, but Wayne didn't and that was the whole point. Eventually, I think Wayne convinced himself he was crazy and told Drac he was going to his room."Thank you Griffin. He gets on my nerves sometimes... You got a giggle out of me too." Dracula said with a huge grin.
"No problem. Did me and Olivia trick you before?..."
"Huh?"
"Nothing!"
"Where is Olivia, anyways. Is she alright? I know my daughter wa-"
"She's fine Drac, thanks to this guy." I pointed to myself. He gave me a look of 'who?'and then I remembered, I was the invisible man... "Me, Drac, me..." I said sadly, I hated my life sometimes.
"Thanks, Griff. I'd better go and see Mavis, huh?" I put my glasses on on nodded, I had to go and see Olivia, anyways, she still hadn't come in and the sun was about to rise. As I was walking towards the door, I saw Wayne, his glare shot right through me and made me feel insignificant,
"I thought you went to your room..."
"Cut the crap, Griffin! I know it was you and there's something I would like to tell you."
"I'm listening."
"Drac is my friend. No-one else's. MINE! So back off of him, please. Or you're gone too... Shame, I really liked you, Griffin..." What? What did he mean by 'gone'? I didn't think I wanted to find out, so from then on, whenever Drac tried to start a conversation, I had to make an excuse. Sad, really, I hoped Drac didn't think bad of me.Anyways, I went outside to clear my head, and to see Olivia. I searched around, "Liv, where are you?!?!"
"I-I'm here. Look at what I can do, G!" Really? She carried on with the G thing! I looked up to see her flying as a bat. Like a proud father, I gleamed at her- but she didn't see me so why did it matter?
"Whoa... That's amazing, Liv! But you need to come inside now..."
"What?! Why? It's fun up AAAHHH!" She fell out of the sky with a hole in her wing, being brought up by humans, and having her fangs only just growing back, she wasn't used to the sun. I caught her as she turned back into a vampire, unconscious- she did fall from quite a height. Before she could burn any more, I took her inside and brought her to Mavis' room, I didn't knock, but Olivia needed somewhere to lie down.On my way in I check to see if Wayne was still standing there, but no. He probably went to his room since Drac went to check on his daughter and he had nothing better to do.
"M-Muum..." Olivia croaked, "Oh..." She suddenly remembered and began to cry. I had no clue what to do, so I pulled her in for a hug,
"Thanks, Griff..." She said, still sobbing quietly. Drac was so lucky to have a daughter like this. I felt an overwhelming sense of pride to be her uncle.
"So... Where are we?"
"Mavis' room."
"M-Mavis' room! What? Why did you bring me here?!?! She hates me!" I saw the worried look on her face, and patted her on the head,
"It's okay. She wasn't in. She must've went out with your Dad." I assumed this because I hadn't seen Drac since he went to see Mavis and he probably went for some father-daughter time to make it up to her. Then we heard.."MAVIS! MAVIS, WHERE ARE YOU?!?!"
She looked at me with wide eyes, the sun was up. She could be in the same state Olivia was just in. Only this time, there was no-one there to catch her and bring her in. We didn't know where she was....
