Drac's POV:
Ever since Mavis was 83, I would tell her stories about how evil the humans were and what they did to her mother and sister, in a nice way, of course.

"What's out there?" She was a very curious youngster, she had her father's looks and her mother's personality.
"Oh, we never go out there. Ever." It was a shame that my beautiful, wide-eyed daughter couldn't see the world around her, but I had to keep her safe.
"Is it because of... Livvy and Mummy?" She looked down at the ground,"Did the humans take their candy?"

"Yes, Mouse... Yes they did..."

I didn't tell her about Frank, though, if I did, she'd never trust monsters and she would be awfully confused! And I hadn't seen Frank in almost a century, he never accepted Mavis' party invites. I guess he must've still felt guilt about what he did 83 years ago. But that was fine, me and Mavis got on quite fine without him. But, even though I said that to everyone, in the pit of my stomach I... missed him?

Martha's POV:
Living as a human was hard, I learned a lot of lessons over time; I was still immortal, our fangs grew back and we had our bat abilities- but I never told Olivia- why would she need to know?

I was unsure to tell Olivia wether she was 83 or 8. Even so, I told her about her loving father and twin sister who 'died in a car crash'. I allowed her to go outside, however, she had to make friends before they passed away right in front of her eyes. Despite the book being incorrect in places, it seemed we were less sensitive to the sun, which was a blessing!
"Go on Liv. Enjoy you're...8th birthday with your friends."
"B-but what if the cars get me?!?!" I sighed, she was just like her dad...
"They won't, honey. I promise."
She gave me a hug before she sprinted off, I was happy she'd found a place in this world. She was curious about the woods though (it was about the only thing she wasn't afraid of!) but every time she said "woods" I would have flashbacks of when the zombies and witches chasing after me and how they nearly snatched Olivia from my hands.

She'd promised to never enter the woods, but I knew it was only a matter of time...
