Tiffany Parkinson never thought of having a mysterious question in her whole life. She's smart, beautiful, talented and a cold girl who lives in an apartment with her aunt. She strives to know what kind of Rose that her mother left to her. She thinks that this Rose is magical and special because sometimes it has a mind of its own! It sometimes blooms itself, it crouches, it closes and sometimes it withers. And she needs to keep it alive.
As another person comes in her colorless life, she thinks that maybe it's all useless to think and hope for the answer despite for waiting so long. But it all started to change when she let out a real and actual smile, and to this, it's all because of that person. Don't you think that maybe, just maybe this flower is connected to her? What if this rose has got to do something with Tiffany's string of life? Does her life depend on this rose like how we all need food to survive?
Two colors in One stem. Does that even sound possible?

PROLOGUE
Never did I thought in my whole life that I'll be having a special rose. A gift from my dear old mother who didn't dare to share any details about this odd flower. And I was left here on earth to solve what it does and why it seems like it's connected to me.
A rose that is merely closed and so pure that maybe, just maybe it looked ordinary. But to me it didn't look normal nor did I see a little pinch of normality in it.
In the past years, all I've been doing was eat, work, study, and sleep. That was my daily routine. And whenever I have spare time, I'll go up in the rooftop of our school to look and wonder about this rose. It never opens. And instead, it just sits on the gigantic pot of hers and does nothing all day.
A rose that never blooms, they said.
A rose that is very mysterious, I said.
I actually have no idea to do anything with it. Yes, it's a big waste of time to take care of a rose that never blooms but I don't have any intention on killing it. It's innocent and we should never harm the innocent.
I would stare at it blankly, waiting for something unusual to happen. I thought that it'll stay like this, all closed up and does nothing forever but I was wrong.
I was wrong for the very first time because of him.
It's because of a boy who managed to be a part of me and a part of my world. It's because of a boy who smiles like an innocent and sinless person. It's because of him why the rose opened for the first time. And I don't know why or how it happened.
But that doesn't mean that the rose would stay open forever.
It closes at some point, and then opens again. It sometimes bends down and looses its petals. Whenever that happens, I get weird feelings and mixed emotions. I mean, staring at a rose with two colors in one stem? Is that even possible?
Okay, you may think that I'm crazy but I'm not! It's true and I'm tellin' y'all! A rose with two kinds of petals in one green stem is a bizarre thing and I'm not hallucinating. Who knew that I would have a very rare rose in my bare hands?
It feels great to stare at its beauty when it blooms, but whenever it looses a petal, I feel like something bad is going to happen and I feel sick. I just don't how to describe the feelings in words.
Two colors in One stem. 1 girl. A mystery to solve.
