5: The athletic Ice Princess
Tiffany rolled her eyes at how pathetic her professor can be. He just paired her up with Drake Choi! The asshole who can't even add correctly. Tiffany sighed as she stood up from her seat and went out of their classroom, leaving Drake behind her.
Drake, on the other hand, was terrified of who his partner was. Why'd that dude even paired me up with the demon?! Can't he see that we're not in the same path anymore?! Ugh. But deep inside, he was a bit grateful of having her as a partner because he'll eventually get a high score in math, which was a rare thing.
Nichkhun, who was trailing behind Drake was partnered up by Cassidy Richards, the drama queen who hates Tiffany. She hates her because Tiffany has the looks, the brain and not to mention her style. Cassidy is the only girl who isn't afraid of Tiffany. Once when they were in middle school, Cassidy had dunked Tiffany's face in the mop and spilled her with onion water.
Tiffany had always been cautious of Cassidy, especially now that Cassidy will try to flirt and seduce Nichkhun, which is out of her control.
As soon as they took their seats on a window nearby, Nichkhun and Cassidy took their seats four seats away from where Tiffany and Drake were. The long and brown table was soon occupied by their classmates except they took refuge of sitting next to Tiffany.
Tiffany quietly answered the Math problems as Drake did nothing. Which were on her instructions: "I'll answer and you do nothing. Do not talk, do not run, do not laugh, do not stand, don't do anything or I'll kill you."
"There." Tiffany said as she slid her paperwork towards Drake. "Already?" He asked, amused. "You just took 20 minutes! Goodness gracious." Drake said as he examined Tiffany's answers. "Whatever." Tiffany rolled her eyes as she placed everything on her bag. "Give me that. I'll be the one to give Professor Kang. Who knows what might happen to this if you take hold of it." Tiffany said as she stood up and took the paper away from him.
"I'm leaving." She said before Drake could even say Thank You to her.
Drake stared at her back as he leaned his back on the chair. Have you already moved on from the past, Tiffany? Well, it was about time. Drake thought before he took a glance at his cousin, who was also done answering the mathematic questions. Nichkhun looked up and gave his cousin a small smile before he asked him, "Where's Tiffany?"
"She went out." Drake murmured as Nichkhun nodded. There's actually going on between them and it's still the second day of school. Drake thought as he examined his own cousin. Whatever it is, I'm going to find out.

Tiffany walked slowly in the corridors, her mind was full of thoughts. Aunt is sick and I need to take care of her. But what about the try-outs? I can't just bail them. Academics is an important role in education, Tiffany. But I don't want to play anymore. Maybe there's something else that I could play.
"Hey, Tiffany." Drake suddenly appeared out of the blues. Tiffany looked at him with a blank expression and just decided to walk pass by him without giving him a greet in return. She continued walking away from him but she didn't noticed that Drake was actually following her.
"What is it that you want, Choi?" Tiffany asked as soon as she felt his presence. Her voice was cold, a tone of irritation was also evident. "If you're going to thank me earlier then whatever." Tiffany rolled her eyes, leaving a frightened and annoyed Drake in the hallway. Man, how does Nichkhun even talk to this girl? Drake asked himself.
