1: Tiffany Parkinson
Another busy day was coming to an end and Tiffany had just closed the latch of the gate. She opened the door and quickly went to the couch, only to lay and vacate the whole space. It's so good to be home. She thought. Well, maybe her home wasn't full of luxurious things ー fancy carpets, shiny chandeliers, expensive beds and the like but it was her home. She simply lived in an apartment with her aunt.
She smiled while looking at the plain and white ceiling and I could say that it was a very rare opportunity. Nobody, in her whole adolescent stage, had a chance to see her ear-to-ear smile. And to Tiffany, she had a good day. "I'm home!" She yelled at the top of her exhausted lungs. There was a crackling sound in the kitchen and that meant that she startled her aunt.
A woman in her 50s came bustling out of the kitchen and she looked very tired. "You're home late!" The woman argued. "Come on, aunt. It was just 15 minutes." Tiffany said in a lazy tone.
The woman who stood in front of her had messy hair while some of its part were curled up into a messy bun. Her skin was pale but not too pale. She wore bunny slippers and a pink apron. She also wore two oversized potholders. Her name is Lin Hi Quart. She is known in the whole city because of her delicious pastries and cakes. Even if she's in her 50s, she still looks pretty young and healthy at her age.
Tiffany smiled at her and Lin Hi let out a chuckle. "If I didn't love you that much, Tiffany. I probably would've thrown you out in the house years ago." Lin Hi said while playfully rolling her eyes. Tiffany laughed at how childish her aunt was. It was a very rare moment indeed. She just laughed! No one would ever believe that she just let out a real and loud laugh.
"I told you to quit that job of yours in that cafe. You're looking pale and what are those?" Lin Hi pointed at the dark circles below Tiffany's eyelids. "Are those eye-bags? Goodness gracious! It's wrecking your beauty!" She exaggerated. "Is my income not enough to satisfy you, Tiffany?" She asked.
Tiffany heaved out a heavy sigh and looked at her aunt. "It's not like that, aunt. I'm working because I care for you. I can't bear to see you do everything for us in order to live. I want to help you because I don't want to depend everything on you." She paused, staring into her aunt's brown eyes, "I want to pay everything that you have done to me since I was 9."
With those words, Tiffany knew that she had hit her Aunt's soft spot in the heart. It was all true, she wanted to help her. She wanted to make an effort in living. She wanted to repay everything that her aunt sacrificed for her in order to live. And one of them was money.
Lin Hi hesitated to argue back because in this battle, Tiffany had just won. Instead, she decided to change the topic. "Come on, dear. Let's get you stuffed up with food." Lin Hi pulled Tiffany in one arm and dragged her into the small kitchen.

After the very fine feast that Tiffany described her aunt's cooking, she went up to her room and lazily went to her bed. I feel like a pig. She smiled at those words. "Omo. I feel like I'm in heaven." She mumbled those words. Tiffany looked at her desk and saw the pile of her books, waiting for her to open it one by one.
She stood up from her bed and began scanning her Math book. She loves math because of the way it challenges her with the numbers and alphabets. It's like going back to High School. She thought while taking another book. 20 minutes had passed by and for her sight, every subject that she took was all easy. She's the Tiffany Parkinson that has a grade of 99.98. Amazing, isn't it?
She's popular and she hates it. Every student in the campus is scared of her because of her coldness. Those cold eyes of hers can make a child cry. She's quiet and thank goodness for that because if she wasn't, who knows what she might say to someone. She maybe a goddess but her attitude towards society is different. She hates boys who look at her in a pervert way. She hates everything that is full of romance and sweetness. She sometimes hates the creation of happiness.
She sighed while standing up and made her way to the mirror. She had a set of black eyes, long eyelashes, rosy cheeks and lips, a perfectly drawn jawline, fair and white skin and a body to die for. Her hair was simply black that had curls to end for it. Whenever she smiles, those eyes of her will also curve into a smile. But of course, that kind of smile is impossible to be seen.
Shitty face with a shitty attitude. She thought while brushing her fringe and placing a hand on her waist. Why don't I change a bit? Be kind to others and help them. But who in the world would like me to help him or her? Tiffany asked herself as her phone rang. She quickly took it only to find out that she received a message from a classmate of hers.
Jellinica:
Hey, Tiff. I just received news that a new boy transferee will be in our class. What do you think he'll look like?Tiffany:
"I think I'll pass. I'm not into boys. I don't like the way they live and think."Tiffany placed her phone back on her desk and changed her clothes into her PJ's. Before she could sleep, her phone vibrated again.
Jellinica:
Come on, Tiff. I'm sure he'll be different with the others. Just give it a try.Tiffany:
I don't know, Jel. Boys are boys. He might be different but nah. Good night. She pulled the covers up and slowly, she thought of accepting another boy in her life. But that would be a total waste of time. She sighed while rolling herself to face the wall. Let's just wait and see. Tiffany closed her eyes and fell into a deep slumber.
