Chapter 19

When Belle woke up on Monday morning she felt incredibly lonely without Leo there, she instantly reached for her phone to find she already had a text waiting.

Leo: bed feels lonely, come back x 

Belle: As much as I'd love to we have school sugar plumb x 

Leo: fine, see you in an hour x

Belle smiled softly as Oscar yapped at her door "Okay one second," she dragged herself up and out of the room and let Oscar out to pee. Two arms were wrapped around her from behind making her jump and turn to see Alfie blinking up at her 

"Will you take me to school?" he wondered 

Belle grinned "Of course I will bub," she picked him up "and I'll pick you up and we can watched Tangled again, yeah?" she felt like she had been neglecting her brother recently, sure he had been with their parents recently since they hadn't had a big case in a while but she missed him. "Go on then get your uniform on and I'll beat you back down here," she popped him down and he ran off to get ready. Belle felt like the day was going to be a good day, that was until she arrived at school Ricky was waiting, strangely without his twin, as Leo and Belle pulled up in their usual space. "Oh no," Belle worried 

"What's up?" Leo worried then he clocked the lonely twin "Ah, I'll see you in a bit," he climbed out of the car gave Ricky a grin before heading off to class. Belle locked the car and strolled over, Ricky waited patiently 

"I'm here to do damage control," Ricky grinned obviously finding the situation hilarious 

"Of course," Belle smile "Jenny has told me everything," 

"Joey has told me everything too," the strolled along not rushing since they were early for class "He is really embarrassed and is hiding in the boys toilets cause he thinks Jenny will laugh at him," 

Belle shook her head "Of course she wont and if she does I'll hurt her badly," 

Ricky grinned "That's what I told him, but he wouldn't come out until I spoke to you," he rolled his eyes "Its not like he did anything bad, most girls would love to be told that they guy they had been sleeping with was in love with them." 

"Jen isn't most girls," Belle smiled 

"She's definitely a different one," Ricky shook his head "see you at dinner," Ricky departed and his place was taken by Jack who captured her hand easily and raised an eyebrow, Belle saw his black eye and winced 

"So apparently we had a wild weekend?" 

Belle's cheeks burned "I forgot to text you to ask you to cover didn't I?" 

Jack laughed "Its okay I'm a good liar," he smiled "Just remember to give me some warning next time you want a little sleep over," Jack winked his bad eye and winced 

"Sorry about that," Belle winced too feeling awful 

Jack shrugged "I deserved it," he smiled as they reached her English "Tell me everything later okay?" he raised an eyebrow and Belle smiled 

"Of course," she pecked his cheek and walked into her classroom promising herself that she'd calm down the PDA to next to nothing for Leo, even if he said he would get through it Belle knew how much it ate him up before never mind now.

Leo: only 4 days to go x

Belle: 3 days Chubs x

Leo: can't believe it's only 2 days! x

Belle: Have you packed for tomorrow yet? x 

Leo: that so doesn't count as our count down you know x
