Chapter 26

That afternoon...

Leo stepped out of the court feeling free for the first time in months, he couldn't wait to get back home to Izzy they need to make up, if this week had taught him anything it was that. He was suddenly engulfed in a hug and for a moment he thought it was Izzy but then he looked to see Rachel, his older yet smaller sister. She was crying and instantly tinged his shirt with mascara "Leo I'm so sorry," he held her carefully as she sobbed

"It's ok Rach," he promised as she held him tighter remembering the prosecutors question 'Why didn't you tell your Mother or even your older sister' he had seen her crying in the gallery at this point when he replied 'my sister and I used to be close until she went to university, I didn't think she had time for me anymore'

"It's not okay," Rachel was now saying as she rubbed her eyes "you've been going through this alone,"

Leo just smiled "No I haven't, Izzy has been there,"

Rachel soon cheered up "ooh Izzy? Tell me everything!" She grinned an identical grin to his

"Come on let's get to the car mum will we waiting," he steered her towards to the car park smiling softly. He checked his phone out of habit as he sat in the passenger side of the car, seeing the smashed screen, that hadnt been magically fixed by fairies, light up as he got another message he couldn't get to like the hundreds of phone calls and other texts he had missed over the week.

"We'll get you a new one when you get home baby," Emma promised

"Dude what did you do?" Rachel asked peering over his shoulder

"Ah... I threw it against a wall in anger after Izzy and me had a fight," he scrunched up his nose not proud of himself he had once again proved he was similar to his father.

"Borrow my phone!" Rachel yelled in his ear almost breaking his eardrum with her excitement. "We're on the same network right?" She pulled out her phone and offered it him her phone Leo grinned

"Perfect!" He switched the SIM cards and waited for all his messages to received

Izzy: Leo it's not what you think I promise I was just breaking up with him, well technically I wasn't because we were never going out! He was telling me how much he liked Jenny! I'm not explaining this over text I'll call you xx

Izzy: Fine don't answer but please don't be angry with me, we were doing a role play, it sounds ridiculous now but we were having a laugh xx

Izzy: you're angry aren't you? Xx

Izzy: don't be angry :( xx

Izzy: fine be angry but I've done nothing wrong and missing school isn't the answer

Izzy: I just seem like an annoying obsessive girlfriend right now -_-... If I'm even still your girlfriend

Izzy: since you obviously ignoring me I'll take it you not coming to the spring dance tomorrow

Izzy: I miss you xx

"Shit," Leo sighed making Emma tut and "sorry," he got back to reading his messages

Jenny: You break my best friend heart I break your face! Get your ass back to school and sort this out!

Twin: Jenny is right mate

Jack: sorry about them it's just been a tough week, B has been awful I've never seen her like this even the twins haven't made her smile, I get that we've put you through some shit mate but you and B are perfect for each other and you seriously don't have to worry about me... Jen and me got together the other day :D just come back to us soon yeah? It's not the same without you :)
