Chapter 11

By Wednesday, her first concert rehearsal at the town hall, Belle had recovered to almost perfect health she would only feel slightly poorly in the mornings or when she laid down in bed but other than that she was no longer tired when ever she moves. Leo drove her to the town hall grinning to himself with Alfie in the back making his Lightsaber noises, he had offered to look after him while she was rehearsing. "Don't make him to hyper Lee," Belle sighed checking her hair in the mirror fiddling with her fringe until it sat properly over her eyes "what are you two going to do anyway?"

"Ah that will be telling," Leo grinned mischievously making Belle worry "Have fun, drink lots of water and don't strain yourself to much," he warned as the stopped outside of the old building that had been the centre of their small town since the dawn of time... or since the early 1500's

"I'm the lead I'm meant to be going over the top," she grinned pulling her navy pea coat around her as she climbed out of Leo's car, but she leaned back in quickly "Be good,"

"I will," Leo laughed before pulling away from the curb and heading off, Belle shook her head before entering the ancient building that smelled musty and fragile, she was suddenly engulfed in a hug and laughed at Jenny.

"You alright Jen?" Belle laughed lightly hugging her back, her grip loosened and she looked her over

"You look better B," she grinned linking arms with her and pulling her off "Hawke is going ballistic, he thought you weren't going to show up! Then Luke hasn't even learnt the songs and basically he's running around like a headless chicken in there," Belle rolled her eyes as the entered the large circular room, the auditorium seats an identical red velvet all point, of course, to the large stage and band pit where every year the town players put on Pantos and other plays that the town went to religiously "oh and Louise was so not pleased you missed class last week," Belle sighed she didn't know why she was still going to the dumb dance classes when she was obviously the worse dancer in the class and the teacher despised her.

"Oh, yeah... I think I might stop going all together,"

"What why? You only fell over a couple of times last time we went," Jenny tried to reason with her but she just rolled her eyes as Mr Hawke buzzed up to her

"There you are Isabelle! Has Jenifer given you an update?" he wondered his voice going up a couple of octaves with stress,

"Yes sir, everything is going to be okay, Sir,"  He smiled gratefully at his favourite student

"Well lets get to it," he clapped his hands together and the choir formed on the stage for warm up.   

Leo played music softly as he drove out of town knowing Alfie had already fallen asleep by the time they left Belle at her rehearsals, the kid was so sweet and had done well not to blab their surprise to Belle, it was Leo's idea but was a joint present between him and her parents.. He couldn't exactly get it her without their permission he grinned excitedly as they arrived, Belle was going to love her present... After all one of her favourite Disney movies was lady and the tramp... "Dude wake up," Leo smiled parking up "lets go choose your puppy," Alfie woke up, instantly excited.

Belle was so tired her voice feeling scratchy and her eyes drooping and it wasn't even 6 o'clock yet. "See you later," Jenny smiled as she ran over to her dad's car already waiting as Belle had to waiting in the cold for Leo, he was always late. Belle smiled to herself leaning against the old building her arms crossed tightly to keep in her warmth. Finally Leo pulled up grinning excitedly she shook her head running to the car,

"Sorry I'm late,"

Belle crinkled her nose "did Alf puke in your car?" Leo opened both of their windows
