•Maddy's Pov•

I grabbed the ball off him dribbling it to my hoop, he chased after me embracing me from behind. I wriggle out of his grip and shot the ball.

"I've never known a girl to be so competitive" He smirked chucking me a water bottle while he undid the lid of his own, taking big sips.
I followed his actions taking a small sip of mine.

He sent me a grin which I returned with a smile.

"Shawn?" I heard someone yell. My eyes snapped towards the voice where I saw Ally, and Shawn standing there all tensed up.

When Ally saw what Shawn was looking at she threw a hand across her mouth in shock. Ally looked concerned about Shawn as she tugged on his arm trying to calm him down.

"ummm" Riley said awkwardly taking another sip and hiding behind his water bottle.

"Hey guys" I said waving as if nothing was happening, when in all honestly I felt embarrassed and guilty. Ally was supposed to keep this a secret, not go and tell the boy I went on a date with last night.

"Ally and Shawn meet Riley, Riley meet Shawn and Ally" I said nervously. Riley sent me a cocky smirk mouthing 'They'll love me'.

Shawn marched into the basketball court, walking right up to Riley. Oh my god shawn don't do anything stupid.

Instead shawn stuck out his hand for Riley to shake, Riley shook his hand with a welcoming grin while shawn had an emotionless face.

Ally walked up behind Shawn, smiling nervously at Riley. "I'm Ally" she said.

"Riley" Riley informed grinning at her. God he's a people pleaser.

"Oh wait your the one who ruined the prank call?" Riley remembered. Confusion lit up Ally's face before realisation.

"Y-You're the prank call guy?" She asked as Riley nodded. "So you're the one who's blowing up Maddy's phone with texts" she smirked and Shawn scoffed.

I hope Shawn isn't hurt, I feel really bad. Last night was great but I don't think we clicked. It would've made this situation way worse if I kissed him last night, but I didn't. Thank god. Shawn seems a little tense about this but overall fine, but Matt. How's Matt going to be? I practically broke his heart last night. Being all honest I may have feelings for Matt. He's the funniest, sweetest, and Not the person I'm on a date with. Oh my god Maddy get your head in the game, your on a date with Riley, the boy you like.

"Maddy?" Riley asked slinging his arm around my shoulder. "I think it's time to get you that ice cream I owe"

"Yeah as the bet was, I would like my chocolate ice cream. Oh and with two scoops please" I said.

"Bye Ally, bye Shawn" I said as we walked away.

"It was lovely meeting you guys" Riley said with a sweet smile as we walked away.

"Bye" Ally chirped.

As we walked away Shawn didn't seem to care all, instead he stood there with his arms folded and a blank face.

•Ally's Pov•

So Riley actually is a boy named Riley, he's not one of the other boys. He's the guy Maddy prank called, the same call I stuffed up by laughing in the background. Riley is the really nice person that wasn't angry when Maddy pranked him.

But how did she meet him, how did he know she was in LA. We only prank called him last night. How did they go from a prank call to a date within a night. Oh well he seems nice. He's pretty attractive too. He has short light brown hair with green eyes and tan skin.

I approve on him and I know that if he does anything to hurt Maddy she can handle herself. She used to do boxing with Jack Gilinsky.
Jack J and Sam didn't want to do it that year and instead they did Karate, which did not last long.

Shawn stood beside me watching Riley cautiously as Maddy and him left the courts, with Riley's arm slung around Maddy.

Yep Shawn's definitely jealous. He did not seem keen on Riley at all.

"Wanna play babe?" Carter asked sneaking up behind me and hugging me from behind. At first I was shocked but soon butterflies filled me. What does my boyfriend do to me? My boyfriend, Carter Reynolds is my boyfriend. It feels so right to say.

Once he lets go I turn around to see all the boys standing there making kissing faces, while Cameron and Nash mocked us , Nash was hugging Cameron from behind.

"Yeah I'll play" I agreed smirking at Carter who was now beside me.

"Teams?" Gilinksy shouted we all walked around so that we were in a circle.

"Ally your Captain and I'll be the other" Taylor declared. "Choose your first teammate"

"Carter" I said as Carter walked beside again.

"Cameron" Taylor said.

"Sam" I said.

"Jack J" he called

"Nash" I said.

"Aaron"

"Jack G" I called he took my brother so I'm taking my other brother.

"Hayes"

"Shawn" I declared, Shawn scoffed walking over to me.

So on my team I have: Shawn, Jack G, Nash, Sam and Carter.

And on Taylor's: Jack J, Hayes, Cameron, Aaron.

We have one extra person, but hey life's not fair so.
