33• Adventures pt.1

•Matt's Pov•

As Maddy and I left the hotel I started thinking of ideas. In all honesty I had no idea what our 'adventure' was going to be, but I knew it'd be fun. Of course she doesn't know I haven't thought of it yet.

I slowly intertwined our hands as we kept walking along the busy roads of LA, I flinched as my hands touched hers as I strangely felt sparks. I wonder if she got them too?

Wait...I just got my idea, I know what the adventure is going to be!

With my free hand I started waving down a taxi, and Maddy seemed to follow along.

As a taxi stopped we climbed in and I told the driver the location, making sure Maddy didn't catch on and figure it out I had told him the location a street away from the place.

Maddy gave me a questioning look and I just shrugged and smiled back at her.

As we arrived at the place Maddy looked confused as ever.

"Why are we here?" She asked.

We had stopped at a street filled with beach front homes, and the destination was just a couple minutes away.

"Well, we aren't where I want to go yet. But, if we walk we'll be there soon." I smiled, grabbing her hand again and walking the direction of the place.

"You couldn't just get us dropped off at the actual place?" She asked laughing lightly to herself.

"Now that wouldn't anywhere near as much fun." I said with a cheesy grin.

"Sometimes I swear you're not normal." she said shaking her head.

"I know, I'm far from normal. I'm extraordinarily amazing." I grinned cheekily.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night." she muttered smiling.

"Oh I think we all know it's you that helps me sleep at night." I grinned cheekily.

As the fair came into sight I looked at Maddy as her face lit up in excitement and realisation.

"We're going to the fair?!" She asked shrieking loudly and looking at me with a huge smile.

"Mhmm" I said smiling too, her smile was just so contagious.

"Oh my lord! Yay!" She screamed excitedly again.

As we continued walking hand in hand we neared closed and closer to the fair.

Her eyes lit up as she saw the fair up closer, seeing the rides and everything. God she's adorable.

"You're smiling like you've never seen a fair before." I chuckled smiling.

"I haven't." she muttered as I stopped walking, she noticed and turned around. "W-what?" she asked.

"You've never been to/ seen a fair before?" I asked and she nodded her head and looked at me confused.

"Am I supposed to of?" She asked.

"Oh my god you poor poor baby." I said pulling her into a hug, she looked utterly confused as I did it.

"Uhh what?" She asked as I continued to hug her.

"Going to the fair was like the best thing of my childhood." I said as I stopped hugging her.

"Well I guess everybody's childhoods were different." she said shrugging.

"Yours must've sucked." I joked laughing.

"Oh trust me it did, I had to grow up with The Jacks, Sam and Ally" she joked too as we both laughed.

We kept walking, making our way towards the entry of the fair. After paying we stopped out the front of the entry.

I grabbed Maddy's hand and smiled as I looked at her.

"Ready to see what you've missed out on all your life?"

"Ready as ever" she said matching my smile as we walked in the gates.

I'm going to make today memorable.
