Chapter 20: Different

I've been hearing gossip lately,

Not that I care for such activity,

But they were about him.

"Did you hear about Jacob?"

"Yeah, I heard it from a senior!"

"It can't be true, right?"

"Of course not! He would never! Plus, if he did, he would be jail by now."

"True, but it a pretty big thing...Killing your own girlfriend."

"It was probably a rumor started by one of the jealous guys."

"Probably."

The nosy girls scattered away after they finished

Killed his own girlfriend, huh?

I laughed to myself,

How bored can they be,

To spout such crap.

Although,

I did believe that his girlfriend had died,

I just had a feeling,

The time when he looks so,

Sad.

I started thinking,

And thought that,

He treated me somewhat different,

From others....

Did he pity me?

Just because I was lonely,

Or did he think he could relate?

Everything he did started,

To infuriate me.

Hate surfaced,

And I wasn't planning on hiding it.
