Chapter 25: Second task

Fred

"Hey have you seen A.J?" I ask nervously.

George, Lee and I are headed to the black lake for the second task and I haven't seen my girlfriend since last night at dinner. Ahhh A.J is my girlfriend. I love saying that.

"Hey Fred you there?" Lee asks

"Uh yeah I'm fine."

"He's worried about his girly friend." George teased. "But seriously I'm sure she's fine. A.J is a strong girl."

"Yeah ok." I sigh

Once we get there we start to sell products for Weasley Wizard wheezes. A joke shop we want to open once we are done with school but are mum doesn't approve. We also are placing bets on who will win.

"Hey boys." Angelina said walking over and giving George a kiss on the check. Ang was followed by Katie, Hermione, Ginny, and A.J's friends Brayden, Caden, Keefe, Angelica and Luke. Ever since the Yule ball Angelina and George have been a couple, Katie and Lee have been a couple, Angelica and Luke have been a couple, and A.J and I have been a couple.

"Have you seen A.J?" I ask.

"No we were just about to ask you that." Angelica says.

"Don't worry she's probably with Ron waiting for us to sit down." Hermione says going to find a seat in the stands as she says that i notice Ron isn't here as well and that doesn't help my worry.

As we sit down Dumbledore speaks "the champions have an hour to find something that has been taken.

"You don't think it's people do you?" I ask worriedly.

"Would you stop it. Fred  it'll be fine." Ginny says.

There is a gun shot and the four champions dive into the water. 10 minutes later Fluer comes back with nothing.

"She didn't complete the task." Ginny says. "What's down there?"

15 minutes later Cedric comes up with Cho Chang.

"The treasure is people." Lee states.

Everyone looks at me concerned.

"Stop looking at me you're making me more nervous  then I already am." I say wringing my hands.

At the 30 minute Viktor comes up with................. A.J. (Ok I know it's supposed to be Hermione but I felt like changing it so bare with me.)

Thank god she's ok I think as I make my way we're A.J was. Her teeth were chattering, and her lips were blue. She has two towels wrapped around her.

"Thank god your ok. I thought something horrible happened." I said kissing her and hugging her. "Here you're freezing." I say handing her my sweatshirt.

"I'm fine." She says kissing me.

"Thanks for getting her." I say walking toward Viktor  sticking my hand out for him  to shake.

"Ov couzre. I vouldn't let her ztay down there. You better Treat her right." He said shaking my hand and walking away.

I turn around and head back towards A.J. she's know surrounded by her friends.

"You must be freezing." I hear Hermione say. I then hear she mutters something that sounds like a spell.

"Thanks Hermione. I'm not wet any more." A.J announces.
