Alexis

I was released from the wing this morning and I had to pickup something from my dorm and dropped Thalia off then I head to the great hall. I saw Hermione sitting alone reading a book so I sat down next to her.

"Hey Mione. With all the different things happening I forgot to give you your birthday present." I say and hand her her gift. "Happy birthday. Even if I'm ten days late. "

Hermione took it and unwrapped it. It was a book about charms and I got her two new quills.

"Oh thanks Alexis. I really wanted this book and I needed new quills. And don't worry about it being late. I almost forgot my own birthday with how busy I've been with my school work. I would've forgotten but Harry gave me a book magical beasts and where to find them and some sweets." She responded.

"Well I have to go see you." She said and left.

I ate my breakfast and then headed to D.A.D.A.
After a few minutes everyone including my uncle arrived.

"I know you've all noticed the dementors that have been around hogwarts. So I've decided to teach you how to cast a patronus so you can protect your self against them. Plus they look super cool. To cast a patronus you have to think of a really strong happy memory and say Expecto Patronum. " my uncle instructed.

He then demonstrated. "Expecto Patronum." And a silvery wolf came from his wand and walk around the room. "Now I just performed a corporal patronus and those are harder to cast. But if you try really hard you can get it. Now practice  and in a few minutes I'll line you up and have each of you cast it." He said.

All at once we began it  practice are patronuses. The room fillies with a white/blue glow. I after three tests I cast a corporal patronus but I could only see that it had four legs due to so much chaos.

"Alright times up. Line up." Uncle Remus said. I got pushed to the front.

"Fantastic.  Alex you may go.

I thought of a memory and I remember one vey vaguely but it makes me happy . It's my father and he's playing with me. I'm about 1 years old. Then my mother calls him in and he picks me up both of us are smiling. We walk in to the kitchen and my mother smiles ate us.

"Expecto Patronum." I say and a silvery blue fox comes from my wand.

"Very good Alex. The fox is a symbolize of patience, wisdom, intelligence, adaptability. They can be high strung or exceedingly calm, charismatic, or mysterious, prone to stand out or blend in, keep peace or make mischief.  Tend to be partially rooted in the sprit world, living day to day in sort of a "world between". Foxes are a strong symbol of femininity, shape-shifting, illusion, and Magic." My uncle informs.

"Wicked." I hear Fred and George say.

Two more people went and then Fred went his was a coyote. " the coyote is a complex symbol humor, cunning, and survival. Coyote is often portrayed as "wise fool" , helping others see the truth in difficult situations. Coyote is often strongly tied to learning to be adaptable, seeing the humor in even the worst situations and being able to cope with even the toughest things life can through at them." My uncle informs.

George was next and his was a hyena. "The Hyena tends to have a good sense of humor and don't take themselves seriously. Hyena's teach balance, realizing own powers, and being happy with what they are given; not wanting for what they don't have." Professor uncle Moony said.

After a few more people Brayden was up her's was an elephant, then Caden went and his was a wolf. " elephants are a symbol of ancient wisdom, power of the feminine, strength, family values, health, longevity, my good fortune. Elephants tend to be intelligent, loyal, affectionate, and have a strong sense of self and community. They Can teach us to trust our intuition and fully develop our perception, sensitivity, and empathy. Then the wolf are individuals but retain a predominant sense of family. Represents all aspects of sociability and the need to mean to remain healthy. Finds its deeply important to learn through teaching, new ideas, freedom of mind and body and has a sense of responsibility for self and others. The wolf is a strong symbol of loyalty and patience." Uncle Remus informs.

Symbol of rabbit is strongly tied to he circle of life. Also a symbol for luck, health, and clear sightedness. Lastly Angelina and Lee went. Angelina's was a horse.

"The horse Stands for dance, emotional intelligence, freedom, and wisdom. They often find a balance between strong social and family ties and a fiercely independent streak. Full of gentle healing, nurturing care, and sense of freedom of body and mind."

Lee's was a dog. "Dogs stand for companionship, loyalty, and perfection. Teach people how to be a good friend, he power of forgiveness and how to love unconditionally. Tend to have good intuition, keen senses, and quick learning, intelligent minds." After one more person went the class was dismissed.

"Bye Uncle Moony." I say and leave with both sets of twins (Fred and George, and Brayden and Caden), Ang, Kay, and Lee behind me. "That was the best D.A.D.A lesson EVER!" Fred and George exclaimed.

"Totally." Lee, Bray, Cade, Ang, and Kay agreed.

"To bad we have potions next with Slytherins ." Cade says.
