The twins, a lot of Gryffindors and I were all heading back to are common room. We just came from the room of requirement were Harry was teaching us real defense against the dark arts. It's called the D.A or Dumbledore's army. We've been having secret meetings since the beginning of school. It's really helped everyone. We can all to basic spells and today we learned how to cast a patronus. Of course all the seventh years knew how to do it already.
The next day everyone who was going home for the holidays went home. All the Weasley's, Harry, and I all were staying.Time skip Dec. 23
Christmas Eve was spent hanging out by the fire telling stories, drinking hot coco and butter beer, and playing in the snow. All of us were very tired and went to bed around 10. I was sleeping peacefully when I was shaken awake by Mcgnagall.
"You need to go to Dumbledore's office immediately. " she said very seriously.
"Ok?" I said and quickly hurried to his office.
I walked into his office and saw Harry and the Weasley's extremely worried. "What's going on?" I ask.
"Well. Harry had sort of a vision of dad in the ministry. Being. Being attacked by a snake." Ginny said shakily. "It turns out. He was right. Dad got bit many times. He's at st. Mongo's now. If Harry didn't know he probably would've been dead."
I started crying. Arthur has been like a father to me and I can't image what would happen if he died.
"You are to floo to Grimmuald 13 and wait there for further information. Your belongings have already been sent." Dumbledore informed and we each went into the fire place.
Once all of us were there we went to the living room and sat waiting for information. It wasn't until midnight did a tired looking Molly come home. She saw all of us waiting. Only George, Fred, and I were awake.
"He's in pretty bad condition but he'll live." Molly said relived. "you should get some sleep." She said smiling slightly and she went upstairs.
The twins and I headed up to our rooms. "Some Christmas." Fred mumbled.
"Hey. He's ok. That's all that matters." I say comforting.
"You don't get it. He could've died. He's in horrible condition. You don't understand. You never knew your father until this year." He said angrily.
I was stunned Fred has never talked to me like that before and it kinda hurt. "He doesn't mean it. He's just stressed. He'll come around in the morning." George said patting my back and followed after his twin.
"I hope so." I whisper tears streaming down my face.
Why would he say that. He knows I don't talk about my dad a lot. He was MIA and in the military. He was at risk of dying everyday. I understand perfectly well. I think before going to bed.
