Chapter 44: Finally

June 8

Alexis

Two days before the wedding and everything is crazy at the burrow. Molly is working herself o we trying to get things done. Bill and Charlie are coming home today for the wedding and I can't wait.

Fred, George, and I are all sitting in the living room looking at old baby pictures. "This one's Charlie, Percy, and Bill with you mum and dad." Fred said.

"They're all so cute." I gush.

An hour later we hear "every dam time. Do they never clean the fire place."

"Charlie!" I yell and run into the kitchen and give him a hug.

"Hey A.J." He says ruffling my hair.

Then Bill clears his throat. "What about me?"

"It's good to see you too." I say and give him a hug.

"What's all the commotion." Mum says waking in. "My. My. You boys grew up good didn't you." She says shaking her head. "Little C and Billy are all grown up."

Bill and Charlie look confused but then come to realization.  "Auntie M?" They say hopefully.

"Come here boys." She says with open arms.

Which they gladly run into. "We were said and confused when you didn't come around anymore." Charlie said.

"Yeah. We thought you died." Bill added.

"I didn't people thought I did." Mum explained.

"Is uncle C here?" Charlie asked.

"Yeah. Charlie come here!" She yelled.

"What hon?" Dad asked he then stopped walking once he saw Bill and Charlie.

"Little C and Billy. Haven't you grown up. I bet you have lots of girls after you." He said smirking.

"Good to see you Uncle C." Charlie said sticking his hand out. Dad looked like he was going to shake it but then but Charlie in a head lock.

"You don't see your uncle since you were 8 and that's how you say hi." He jokes.

"Fine. Fine." Charlie says getting released form the head lock and gives my dad a bro hug. Bill goes over and does the same.

June 10

Two days later the house is buzzing with excitement. Today my parents are finally getting married! All my family is here. Even Oliver took time off from his Quidditch team. The bridal party is:

We were in Ginny's room getting ready. We all and our hair done, nails painted, and make up applied. My mum looked as pretty as ever.

"Why are you wearing converse?" I ask.

Mum, Aunt Iris, and Aunt Bella share a look. "It's an inside joke me your Aunt Iris, Aunt Bella, and your Aunt Lily had at hogwarts. The first dance I went to I went with your father and I said I would wear converse. Your aunt Lily didn't like that one bit and insisted I'd wear heels. So I outsmarted found converse heels. Lily was a little mad but got over it because they were heels and I was in a dress. " my mum explains.

Soon it's time for the ceremony. And I go downstairs to make sure the coast is clear. It is and the rest of the bridesmaids and mum come down. Sirius is waiting to escort my mum down the aisle. I peak my head outside and see Fred and George talking with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Charlie Wesley is talking to Bill and his new girlfriend Fluer Delacour from the Triwizard tournament. I knew they'd hit it off.

Soon aunt cinder and uncle Ben walk out followed by  aunt Iris and uncle Jackson. Who are followed by aunt Bella and uncle Jake. After them is aunt Malina and uncle Remus. Next comes Angelica and Luke followed by Oliver and Brayden. Then the music begins to play and I walk out with my uncle Griffin. Once we reach the end of the alter Griffin goes and stands by dad in the left while I stand on dads right.  Then uncle Sirius and mum come down. Dad looks at mum like she's the most valuable precious thing in the world and to him it's probably true.

"You take care of her. " Sirius says before leaving mum.

The ceremony is beautiful especially the vows.

"Liam. I love you so much. Your funny bubbly personality makes everyone gravitate towards you. When we had Alexis I was so happy and I could tell that you were too. But then you got unlisted and I didn't see you for at least 6 years but when I did it was the happiest moment in my life aside from when Alexis was born. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." My mum said with tears.

"Rose you are the light to my dark. You bring me love, happiness and joy. I remember the first time I say you in first year you were wearing ripped jeans and a blue plaid shirt with your hair in a French braid. You're eyes sparkled with light. I remember you hanging out with your brothers and forming pranks and junking I want to join them. In fourth year I got my chance to ask you to the ball and luckily you said yes. I love you and can't wait until your Mrs. Mackenzie Rose Wood." Dad said grinning big.

The priest announced them man and wife they kissed and then it was time to party. Halfway into dinner uncle Sirius made a toast.

"I remember it was someone's birthday and Mac, Charlie, Remus, James, Lily, and I were all sitting in the common room talking and playing with mac's puppy Thalia. James and I weren't to sure about Charlie yet to I left the common room and turned into my animangus form, a black dog, to see what Charlie would do if I wasn't their. He behaved ok over all but when he did something I didn't like I would growl at him and he would back off. Charlie form then on was a good kid always looking out for  my sister. Charlie I'm glad that my sister married you." Uncle Sirius said.

"No wonder that dog didn't like me!" Exclaimed dad and everybody laughed.

The rest of the night was spent dancing and eating cake. I spent my time with George and Fred. Danced a few slow songs with both of them. I also danced with my dad and mum. It was a really fun night. I absolutely love weddings.
