Chapter 9 part 2

Skylar POV ._____________________.

"Alpha" mind linked with my 3rd in command Damian "We found 5 more runaway slaves what would you liked for me to do with them?" He asked.

I sat up from my bed and mind linked him back "Just throw them in a cell and search in the lost slaves web if some of them are being searched, if not, you know what to do" I smirked.

"Yes Alpha" he answered sadly. I know that he hates to do those  kind of things to the slaves but, it's an order, not from me but from the slave council.

I stood up and started changing my pajamas to a black shirt and black jeans when there was a knock in my door.

"Alpha" said my second in command Adam "I was running through the woods when I heard a loud scream, then I smelled a wolf and a witch. I captured them and noticed that the wolf girl has been hurt with a silver knife and she is injured. She is in the hospital while the witch girl is in the cells."

"Okay" I answered him "Once the wolf girl gets out of the hospital, take her to the cells with her other friend. I need to know why they were in my territory without permission."

"Yes alpha." With that he closed the door of my room and left.

Vanessa POV .__________________.

"Vanessa" I heard a familiar voice call me "Vanessa please wake up" she said again. I opened my eyes and noticed I was not in my room, I was in a cell? I stood up as fast as I could looking around the place.

"Where are we?" I asked Aglaee who sat down on the bed I was just sleeping in .

" What's going on?" I asked again a little more loud that before. That's when all the memories returned, from were I was stabed with a knife to where I couldn't hold the pain any more and fell to the floor.

"The pain was to much" Aglaee answered truthfully.

"You fell unconscious to the ground just when a big black wolf found us. He called two more wolves to help him take both of us with him. I tried to fight but no luck, and you, for a moment I even thought you were dead. Luckily the wolf, who I found out was the beta from the pack named Adam,  took you to the hospital from the pack. I think that the only reason why you are still alive." By the time she finished talking , I was already sitting on the floor taking everything she just told me.

"By the way" she said "I would shield my scent if I were you" she winked. I shielded my scent just in time to see someone walk in. There was power radiating from him, I knew in that instant, he was an alpha.

"We're is the wolf girl?" He asked. I looked at him better and noticed he was a really, REALLY, good-looking guy. He had a black shirt and black jeans combined with black-white converse. He looked at me and smirked, he probably saw me checking him out! I could feel my cheeks burning of embarrassment.

"It's her" the guy, who I'm pretty sure is the beta said.

"I don't smell any wolf " the alpha answered him.

"She used to smell like a wolf but now, I can't smell her" he said.

"Let's make her tell us why doesn't she smell like a wolf, even though I don't think it's possible to shield the scent, and why she is in my territory. So what's your name?" He asked turning towards me.

"V-V-Vanessa" I answered. He took some steps towards me and I unconsciously took some steps back.

"What were you doing on my land?" He asked me, I was already cornered, I couldn't take more steps back anymore so I just stood there trying not to show him how scared I was.

"And you?" He asked walking now towards Aglaee.

"Aglaee" she said brave as ever.

"Oooh so, you stand your ground?" He asked now touching nose to nose with Aglaee.

"You don't scare me I've had worse masters than you" she said.

"Ooooh really?" He asked.

"Of cour....." She didn't finish her sentence before the alpha had punched her on the stomach.

"Noooo!" I screamed. I didn't know what to do, he already had her on the floor and was about to kick her when I used my shield protect her.

"What the heck?" He asked rubbing his foot, if you touch the shield you feel like if you were being stabed. That's how much pain you feel. He turned towards me and said " I don't know what the heck you two are but I will get answers." With that he walked towards me, his eyes now pitch black, and started punching me.

I had just gotten better from the stabs and I was being beat up from an alpha. I tried to protect myself too with my shield but I didn't know how to do more than one person since I didn't use my shield a lot. He punched me so hard on the stomach that I finally fell to the ground groaning. He then started kicking me everywhere, I was coughing blood already and I couldn't concentrate on shielding Aglaee and my scent. I had was already  groaning, whimpering, and even crying but he didn't stop hitting me.

I could hear Aglaee yelling "Stop" and "don't hurt her." There were tears coming down her face while she was screaming that non stop.

Skylar POV .__________________.

"Tell me, what were you doing on my land slave?" I asked her (more like my wolf asked her) kicking her one more time "answer me!"

"Alpha" said Adam my beta "you should stop punching her, she's almost unconscious"

I noticed that she was not crying any more and her eyes were barely open. I kicked her one more time and heard a bone crack. She screamed really, really, loud and then the shield disappeared. That's when I smelled the best thing I ever smelled. It smelled like sweet melted chocolate and coconut.

'Mate' yelled my wolf. I can't believe it! Out of all the women in this world, my mate had to be a vampire slave?

Even worst. Out of all the women in this world, my mate had to be a vampire slave that I just beat up?
