Chapter 11 part 2

Vanessa's POV .______________.
I woke up with the chirping  of the birds. The sky is blue and the wind is chilling. I love my life, it's so beautiful and perfect. My mom is here with me taking a sip of her Coke. I grabbed my sandwich from the basket, before I could take my first bite i woke up in reality. The misery of life.

I didn't wake up with the chirping of the birds, I woke up with the singing of the machine telling me I'm still alive. I didn't wake up with the blue sky, I woke up in a plain white room. My mom wasn't here only Aglaee seating in a chair besides my bed. There wasn't a sandwich to eat, there was only water on the other side of my bed.

"How do you feel?" Asked Aglaee with sleepy eyes.

"I'm fine, what happened?" I asked her looking around the room once again. All I can remember was being in a cell, then a guy came in the cell. That's when I remembered. The pain.

"You remember now?" She asked me, taking my hand

I looked at Aglaee and asked her "How can I still be alive?"

"Well......he is your......ummm..... your..... someone important" she said "he regretted what he did and called all the doctors he could find to help you"

I tried to sit properly when a wave of pain came from my stomach I couldn't help but scream in pain. In less than a millisecond a man had gotttwn inside the room with the word worry written on his forehead.

"Are you okay Luna?" He asked me grabbing a thermometer and checking my temperature.

"Yea I'm fine" I said trying to contain the pain from my stomach

"Your temperature is 110.2, normal for werewolves" he said smiling "in about an hour, you will be able to stand up and look for the alpha, Luna. He is really sorry that he did this to you and hopes you can forgive him" he said "bye." He got out of the room leaving Aglaee and I alone.

There was two things that called My attention in this conversation; why is the alpha apologizing? and, why did he call me Luna!?

"Aglaee" I said turning my head towards her "why did he called me Luna? Why is the alpha apologizing? What's going on!"

"Well.......ummmmm....." She babbled.

"Tell me" I raised my eyebrows at her.

"He is ....umm.....you know..."

"Tell me"

"Your......he noticed....."

"Tell me" by now, I was getting impatient

"Then I found mine......" She continued babbling

"Tell me NOW!"

"His your mate! I found mine too, he is the Delta, your's is the alpha"

Mate. One word, a thousand meanings....

"What's mate?" I asked her

"What!?" Aglaee and Perla yelled at me at the same time "you don't know what mate is?!"

"Hang there cowboy" I said "you two talking at the same time is creeping me out."

"But, I'm the only one here" said Aglaee looking around.

"Im talking about you and my wolf" I informed her.

"Oooh" that's all she said.

'Mate is the werewolve's other half. The moon goddess is the one that pairs you up with him or her. If he feels sad, you are sad. If he is happy, you are happy.' She informed me.

'so, you mean that, that son of a donut that beatt me up is no other than the person that's supposed to love me the rest of my life?' I asked her

'Hey, don't remind me about that' perla huffed 'I'm still really hurt of what he did to us. How could he hurt his own mate?' Perla started whimpering

'Don't cry over a guy Perla' I consoled her 'guys are not worth it'

'Your right. I will....rest........bye' she shut the connection.

"Are you done?" Asked Aglaee "you were about five minutes in your own world"

"Sorry" I apologized "I was talking with my wolf. I know what mate is now and I don't like that word at all"

"Yea me neither. The delta is my mate"

"Ooh" that's all I could think of to say. I stood up from the bed, feeling better. I didn't need to wait the whole hour to get better. They think I need to but, as you can see, I'm not an ordinary wolf.

" where are you going?" Asked Aglaee standing from her chair also.

"I need to get out of here" I told her "now"

We opened the door slowly checking if there wasn't someone unexpected outside. The coast was clear and we started running.

'Where are we going?' Asked my wolf, reopening the connection

'I need your help' I told her 'our mate doesn't deserve us, we need to scape'

'Your right' she whimpered 'turn to your right twice, I can hear the birds from there. There's probably a window or a door directing us outside'

'On it'

"Aglaee" I turned around watching her some steps behind me "follow me, I can get us outside" she just nodded and ran faster.

After turning twice to the right, I saw a yellow door on the end of the hallway. I could hear the birds from here.

'We are close' said Perla 'just a little more'.' I grabbed Aglaee's hand and ran wolf speed. I pushed the door and saw a forest. I let go of Aglaee's hand, of course, after I went back to human speed.

"You run really fast" she said amazed.

"That, my friend, is called wolf speed" I smiled. She returned the smile and kept running.

I could see the end of the pack territory when an unexpected force tackled me to the ground. I tried to fight it when I felt sparks come out from everyplace that person would touch.

'It's the mate spark' Perla said 'I forgot to shield our scent' i looked to see the handsome man on top of me.

He looked angry at me  "where do you think your going?"

'We are in a lot of trouble' I told Perla

'Yep'
