Nothingness

37 1 1

A blank piece of paper,

Stark empty.

Unfocused.

She searches the recesses

Of her mind,

Searching for a thought.

Panic arises.

All she finds is nothing,

Along with the dust

Coating her fingertips

As she trails them along

The dark floor.

Time has ceased to exist.

There is only nothingness.

She has lost her words,

Her sight,

Her thoughts,

Her life.

She sits in the emptiness,

Alone in her mind,

Where no one can harm her.

Where no one can save her.
