My Rambling

On a Dark, Stormy Night.

You're like water.

You're beautiful and terrifying in your might at the same time.

You slip through my fingers, leaving me with only a trace of you.

You frighten me at times, and yet you can be lukewarm and comforting.

You come when you like, but won't come when I call.

At times I suspect you toy with me,

With my heart.

With every part of me.

Drown me one night,

Dehydrate me the next.

I can't live without you,

And yet I wish I could.

It seems I am doomed,

To forever drown in this strange salty ocean,

Of mine own tears.

I love you.

I need you.

But I wish I didn't.

I hate you.
