Crushing Felix

Chapter 9: The Single Deal

Arrived on Friday:
Lily knocked on the wooden door of the large house, that seemed to be a mansion from the outside. In the meanwhile, Kelsey fluffed her hair to the front of her shoulders and rubbed her lips together.

"Hey girls...Come in." Rick had opened the door and let them in. As Kelsey and Lily walked in, Rick checked Kelsey out and went in after them. Music was not so loud and people weren't drunk yet .

"Lily!! This is cool!" Kelsey shouted at Lily, against the moving beat of the music.

"I know right!!" Lily grabs Kelsey's wrist and takes her to Felix and his friends.

"Here are the lame girls again," Vara smiled sarcastically. "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed be somewhere else?" Vara rested her arm on Felix's shoulder. "Go."

Felix took a look at Kelsey. "Hey Vara..Calm down for once!" Felix forced a laugh when Vara moved her eyes at him.  

"You better leave girls!.... You don't belong around us!." Vara had so much bright makeup on, that her face looked almost fake, in the dark.

"No." Kelsey finally said. She knew Vara was jealous of everything she was doing. "You can't make me."

"What did you just say b****? And YES I CAN MAKE YOU LEAVE!!!!"

 Others were watching the conversation as Vara was cursing out the dirty words that were always in her mouth. As soon as Felix casually left, walking upstairs, Kelsey wanted to run after him and slap his non-innocent face. 

Lily swallowed and crossed her arms at her chest. "You know what?! You are a spoiled, rich, diva! I don't think you have the f****n right to make me leave!!! A**hole."

"B****." Vara was furious but her resistance to punch either Kelsey or Lily was clearly showing through her skin.

 "Come on Kelsey.. Let's get out of here," Lily said. She quickly grabbed Kelsey's wrist and took her to the backyard.

Kelsey spoke, "Did you see what Felix did?!"

"Girl, no." Lily said this so casually, but her voice was weaker.

As Kelsey was about to speak, Rick joined into the conversation and asked them a question.

"Sup. How you guys doing? Anyway, you know where Felix is at?

"He might be upstairs," Lily replied. Kelsey nodded her head to volunteer in the question.

"Thanks... You chicks have a nice night." Rick winked at Kelsey and smiled.

Kelsey took a breath after Rick left and said, "I'm gonna go to the front yard to calm down, Lily. I really need it." 

"Kay girl. See you later!" Lily walked into the kitchen screaming, "WOOOO!!!" 

 Stepping outside the front door, Kelsey sat at the bench, at the side of the house. She glanced at Felix, from far away. And there was Sally, with him. She was stroking his hair and leaving no space between them. She was trying to seduce him, which Kelsey thought was typical for her to do. She didn't think Felix would actually fall for Sally. Her heart bounced when she was caught staring at both of them. Felix glanced at her when she was looking.

  Sally was wearing a long pink lace dress with the highest high heels that sparkled more than the stars. Kelsey looked up and took a few deep breaths. She wanted to pretend that she had no clue Sally was touching Felix like crazy. Felix looked at Kelsey when she wasn't aware, and he kissed Sally. Sally, with her skinny hands, placed them on Felix's tuxedo. She kissed her neck, and when Kelsey looked again without making it too obvious, she wanted to die. She ran back to the front door.
