*Rians POV*
I woke up around 8, I noticed only a few people were up. Zack was up getting ready for a run, and our tour manager was up getting things planned for our show tonight. I got out of bed, carefully moving around Haley, trying not to wake her. I got on my phone and looked up where we were. Once I found what city we were in I looked for places to go out for breakfast. I planned on having a nice breakfast with my daughter. I found a place a few blocks away and decided it would be perfect.
I softly shook Haleys arm, waking her. She shuffled around and opened her eyes. "morning princess" I spoke smiling at her. She gave a tired smile. "mornin daddy!" she said wrapping her arms around my neck giving me a tight hug. "hey pumpkin, do you want to go out for pancakes!" I asked enthusiastically hoping she'd say yes. What 6 year old would say no to pancakes. "YES!" she yelled jumping onto me. I picked her up, hugging her, whilst quieting her down since people were still sleeping just inches away from us.
I got up and got dressed in black jeans and a Blink t-shirt. I walked over to me and Zack clothing bunk where we kept our clothes. I had most of Haleys clothes in there. I was just about to pick out her clothes when I felt a tug on my pant leg. "Daddy? can I pick out my clothes?" Haley asked in a quiet voice. "Sure things honey" I told her, motioning for her to find something to wear. She picked out black joggers with writing on the knees and a white octopus shirt. She claimed she NEEDED a headband to make her outfit complete. She grabbed her mini little combat boots and asked me to put them on her. She was a little truly a fashionista. We walked into the front lounge where a sweaty Zack and a sleepy Jack sat on the sofas. They both complimented how adorable and badass she looked right now. She smiled and danced around a little while we waited for our uber. I had asked Ashley last night if I could take Haley out and she agreed. Jack was sad that I wasn't taking him with but I wanted alone time with my daughter.
Once we were at the restaurant I decided to ask her how she felt about me. "I love you!" she said loudly, making the tables next to us look over. "aww, but I how do you feel about like," I paused "umm, about staying with me, and your mom not being there" I asked struggling to speak the words. "That sounds fun!" she said jumping up. I was glad she was excited. I needed to plan a date to talk to Ashley. We needed to discuss when I got to have Haley. I wanted her full time, I never wanted to let her go, but I knew I'd have to let Ashely have her sometime.
"I want pancakes!" Haley demanded with her adorable smile. The waiter came over and we ordered our pancakes and bacon. "Oh! I want chocolate milk!" she interrupted the waiter who was telling us he'd be right back. A normal parent would be embarrassed or super apologetic if their child did somethings like that, but she acted a lot like Jack, loud and disruptive, except he was a lot worse. I was used to this child like behavior."Haley," I started, grabbing her attention from her coloring book. "do you like my friends?" I finished. I knew the answer would be yes I just wanted to hear what she thought about them. "Who? jacky and Alex? and sack?" she asked looking kind of confused. "yeah, and his name is Zack, Z..Z..Zack" I said sounding it out for her. "Oh yeah I like them! I thought they were your brothers!" she said like she'd just found out the biggest news ever. "Well they're like brothers" I explained. "OHHHH!" she said a little too loudly. "Jackys my favorite!"she said smiling her big smile. "No! Ally is!!" she spoke quickly after. "Well, maybe jacky..." she spoke uncertain. I was happy she liked them. I couldn't have my daughter hate the 3 boys I spent almost everyday of the year with.
When our food got there Haley was excited to see her pancakes were in the shape of Mickey Mouse. She told me the other day she loves Mickey Mouse. While we ate I had her tell me more things she liked to do. She told me she wants to be a model, loves clothes and likes to pretend she's a princess. I already knew all of these things from the first time we talked but I acted like it was new news. "baby, you're a princess to me" I said sounding lame. She let out an adorable giggle and smiled at me brightly. Then went back to eating her breakfast.
"you're just a little bit out of my limit" she sang quietly but loud enough for me to hear. "a 5sos fan huh?" I asked making her raise her head. She blushed a little but nodded quickly. "They're good guys" I said smiling at her. "your mom must have good taste in music," I said thinking about how my 6 year old knew almost every word to all of our songs. "Yeah, I like when she plays your music" Haley said smiling up at me. That girl was always smiling.
We finished eating and were walking out of the restaurant. "Hey miss model, can I take a picture of you?" I asked her in a paparazzi voice. "Why, sure you can!" she said in a funny accent. I let out a chuckle and took a picture of my adorable daughter who was posing in all kinds of ways. Once I was finished she jumped over to me and grabbed my hand. We walked back to the bus, which was only a few blocks.
As we walked she swung our hands back and forth. She was truly the cutest thing I'd ever seen. "So do you want to be a singer when you grow up" I asked out of the blue. "Umm.." she thought for a moment. "I don't know" she finally answered. "Well I noticed you liked to sing, and I just assumed you'd like to be a singer" I said. "I like singing with Ally" she said looking up at me. "He's one of the best singers I know, other then Cassadee" I said without thinking. "Who's Cassadee?" she asked immediately. "Oh just my friend" I lied..kinda. I mean she was my friend, my girlfriend. We've been dating for quite a few years now. I forgot I have yet to tell her about my daughter. Shes been busy the past week or so, so I've been waiting. I wanted to wait until I knew for sure, and that Cassadee wasn't busy. I should probably tell her soon, but after talking with Ashley. I decided to change the subject. "So, I have another question" I said looking at Haley. "what is it?" she said looking up at me with her big brown eyes. I took a second to admire her beauty, then continued. "Would you" I started, pointing at her, "like to come on stage with us tonight" I finished, smiling hoping she'd say yes. "YES YES YES!" she said letting go of my hand and clapping her own really fast. "Yay! I'm happy you're excited." I said, then lifted her and rested her on my hip. We walked the rest of the way back like that. Her hugging me tightly as I did random jumps and running to entertain her. As we approached the bus she looked at me in the eyes and said something that made my heart melt "You're the best daddy ever! Im happy you're my dad! I love you so much!" she said kissing my cheek and giggling. That was by far the cutest and sweetest thing ever said to me, well minus Jack telling me I wasn't the WORST drummer ever.
