This is my first story and also my essay. Future tips and advice are appreciated <3

My heart is pounding and every inch of my body was aching with pain. I hear noises surrounding me, feeling something moving, fast. Puzzled I open my eyes to find out what all the commotion was about. Seeing indefinite sight, outline of figures moving everywhere. My head started to throb as I try to concentrate, soon my vision turned even more hazy and I was swallowed with darkness, lights out.

"Athena dear, are you coming?" I hear my mother say as I run towards her. I looked into my mother's green eyes, sparkling with joy. Her appearance similar to mine, she had a gentle look, high cheekbones, dark long brown hair that was tied into a high ponytail and a smile that can brighten up anyones day. Taking one last look at the house that I grew up in, remembering the memories that I will hold dearly, I said my farewell. Since it would be the last time I would see that house due to the fact that we had to move to a small town called Rosella Vill, that was not too far from here. Then I turn around continuing to walk towards my mother who was patiently waiting for me beside the car. Stopping in front of her I gave her a tight embrace and for a moment I was at peace, like nothing in the world could ruin this moment.

We stood there for a couple more seconds before pulling out of the embrace, still holding onto her hands, I quietly say, "I'm ready." My mother smiles and I open the front door for her, she mouths a thank you and sits in the passenger seat. Closing the front door I smiled and sat in the back, making myself comfortable for the ride ahead.

My father turns towards me, "All set kiddo?" he asks using the nickname he calls me since I was 5. We both chuckle as wide smile appeared on his face.

"Yes sir!" I said enthusiastically while motioning a fist into my chest like a salute. He does the same things and we both laugh even harder. Turning back to the steering wheel, he does a minute check and starts the car. Once the car started to go, I took my backpack out of the back of the car, placing it beside me. Unzipping it I took out a giant fluffy blanket, my headphones, my phone, a sketch pad and a pencil. I looked out the window, seeking the world outside for inspiration. I had nothing in the moment, plus I wasn't the person who liked pure silence. I didn't really have a reason for disliking silence, I guess it was just the sound of nothing, that gives me an uneasy feeling in my stomach, causing me to be alert as if at any moment something was going to happen.

"Hey dad. Can you turn on the music?" I ask.

"Sure kiddo." He replies as he turns on the music.

The song Classic by MKTO came on, it was my favorite and I'm gonna guess that my parents already knew that because they were looking at me through the mirrors. I shrugged, giving them a big smile and started to sing my heart out. Then both of my parents started to join in too. I started dancing in my seat and while I was dancing like a maniac, it hit me. My inspiration, which was of course none other than my family, I slapped my forehead. Why didn't I think of this before? Picking up my pencil, I started to sketch away. I was in full concentration mode, replaying the perfect family moments in my head. I was about to finish it when suddenly I hear a loud, high pitched scream. My eyes darted to my mother, she was holding on to her seat screaming as my father tried to steer clear of something.
