"Well..if you are not interested, there's nothing I can do," Sachin said in a fake hurt voice.

I heard his footsteps and turned around to see him walking out of the cafeteria.

Is he talking about my bracelet? The old pearl bracelet? how come he gets hold of it?

"Wait" I called out to him, but he was already outside, I didn't care about the stares and started to run after him.

"What happened just now?" Sreejith asked, breaking the silence first. "Do you think Sachin is really interested in her?"

"I never thought it is this bad!" Praveen said.

"What do you mean?" Teena asked.

"He was looking for her for the past couple of days she was absent for the classes, he thought she was going to quit college and he seemed worried"

"Excuse me" Mia pushed back her chair and everyone noticed her for the first time, suddenly feeling awkward, not knowing what to say.

She ran towards the exit.

"Sachin is too much!" Teena said angrily. "why does he have to insult Mia like this?"

"He wasn't insulting her, she's not even his girlfriend," Praveen said.

I am starting to go mad now, I have other better things to do than worry about a bunch of immature idiots!

"Are you alright? you are too silent" Sharath asked Nirosha and I snapped my eyes at her to see that she's watching me.

"I think the lovebirds are fighting?" Praveen said, looking between me and Nirosha.

Nobody knows what's happening in our life except for Sachin. Nirosha and I looked at each other in shock.

"Why don't you tell them?" I said. Nirosha paled slightly.

"Tell us what?" Teena asked.

"We are not together," I said and silence filled the table. both the gang looked shocked.

Nirosha looked worried.

She thinks I am going to talk about her engagement with Rohan!

"I..we... I was away, It's been a long time" she said, giving me a nervous look.

She's not ready to talk about Rohan.

I pushed back my chair. "I will see you," I told Sharath and walked back.
