Chapter 12: that was a thing prt. 2
Blake decided to visit Yang without Ruby. She checked in with the nice little old lady, said "hi" to some nurses she recognized from taking care of Yang and made her to Yang's room. She knock twice, no answer so she walked in. "Hey Yang." She said quietly opening the door. Both a nurse and a topples Yang turned around. "Sorry I knocked and no answered so." Blake paused just now noticing the large amount of scares on Yang's back. "So, I thought she was sleeping."
The nurse smiled. "It's quite alright, I'm just changing her bandages." Yang looked back toward the window, Blake couldn't see what she was looking at or if she was looking at anything at all. "And.. We.. Are.. Done." The nurse handed Yang her shirt, smiled and left.
"hey Yang, are you feeling alright." Blake walked over and sat down on the bed with her. Blake followed Yang's gaze, it was aimed at her feet. "Yang?" Blake said concerned.
Yang looked over and had a look of shock. "I'm sorry Blake, I didn't notice that you were there."
"Yang is there something wrong?"
Yang perked up a little and put on a grin. "Ha no, why would there be anything wrong!?"
Blake stood up and stepped in front of Yang, she put her hand on her good shoulder and looked her dead in the eyes. "Tell me the truth Yang."
Yang went back to looking at her feet, tears begin to fall from her face at a rapid pace. "I just got a call from the bitch I'm forced to call my mother and she told me I have to leave Beacon and come home, for good."
Blake pulled Yang into a one armed huge. "She can't do that."
"Yes, yes she can. She says it's too dangerous and yet she's the one that puts scares on a 16 year old girl."
"I'm so sorry, I pulled you into my problem and you got hurt and now you have to leave after all your hard work. I bet you wish you never met me." Blake joined Yang in crying.
Yang used her good arm and pushed Blake to the floor and dropped on top of her, their faces were inches away and an angry Yang looked a shocked Blake dead in the eyes. " you are one of the best people I've ever met, no you are the best person I've met. I don't regret meeting you and if I had the chance to do it all over, I would do it the same way!"
Blake remained quiet for quite some time just looking at Yang. "Alright, I'm sorry." Yang leaned forward, kissing Blake right on the lips, she felt Blake push back for a moment before breaking off Blake's face was completely red, she got up and helped Yang back in bed and quickly said, "goodbye." And rushed out the door. Yang smiled as she watch Blake leave.
Earlier...
Ruby awoke to an empty room. Blake must have gone to see Yang, she thought. Ruby got dressed. She wore her usual red hoodie, black jeans and her red and black combat boots.
And pulled out her phone and texted Weiss.
