The hospital room door slowly creaked open and Qrow popped his head in. A small smile appeared on his face when he saw Yang asleep. "Well kid..." He whispered as he walked over and sat in the chair next to her bed. He watched as she reach up to her face and scratch her nose. " y'know, you really remind me of her... The way you style your hair, your temper...how you talk" tears welled up in his eyes as he whispered to himself, "the way you'd take a bullet for the people you love.. Ha" he quickly wiped the tears from his eyes.

Yang's rusling turned into her sitting up. "Aye, what's up Uncle Bird Brain?" As a sleepy Yang snapped and pointed at him.

He smirked, "not much kid, how yah feelin?"

"Feel like I could go three rounds with a bear, how about you?" As she shot a questioning look his way.

"Well to add to your analogy, I feel like I went three rounds with a bear." As he reach over and rustled her hair.

She smacked his hand away in a playful way, "hands off the hair." He just rolled his eyes.

"So the docs said you could leave today if you wanted to, how about it?" He said pointing to a bag of her stuff.

"Fuck it sure." Qrow nodded and grabbed the bag and handed it to her.

"I'll be out here for when you're done." He said as he walked out into the hall. And a small ding came from his phone, he opened it and a text came up on his phone, which read, "the conference start ended." with a link to a video. When he clicked on it Ozpin appeared on the screen.

"Any questions, regarding the school year so far?" A moment of silence, "ah, yes you young man?"

"Thank you, um... This is regards to the death of a non student and the arrests of three students?"

Ozpin visibly glared at the man before speaking. "Yes, the four kids were vandalizing one of the roofs of the larger buildings when one fell, killing him instantly. The others were scared but called the the authorities and were arrested."

"But that's not what my sources say." The man exclaimed. "They say that because of your lack of supervision or security, the four suspects cornered two female students and held them at gunpoint. One was shot in the shoulder and the other traumatized over the situation, now is this true!?"

Ozpin remained quiet, "this is over." And he walked off the stage.

With a smirk Qrow turned off his phone and at the same moment Yang walked out into the hall. "You ready? Where are we heading to?"

Yang put her second flip flop on and started walking down the hall. "I say we go say hi to the girls." Qrow just shrugged.

"Just gives me an excuse to she how the short ones doing."

Qrow made passe with Yang. "So have you seen my bike?"

Qrow gave her a weird look, "like a peddle bike? Because I know you're not old enough to drive a motorcycle."

"Yeah of course, my bike pedals by itself. Go's zoom." Qrow just smirked and rolled his eyes.

"Just don't crash it, those things are a lot of money. I should know."

Ruby paced around the room in an anxious fashion. "BLAKE WHAT AM I GOING TO DO!?"

Blake just watched her with a raised eyebrow. "Whatcha mean?"

Ruby grabbed Blake by the shoulders. "I don't think if I can go on a date with Weiss, like she is soooooo out of my league." Blake just smiled at Ruby, which once she realized, face turned beat red. "IT'S NOT LIKE I LIKE HER LIKE THAT!"

Blake rolled her eyes. "Suuuure." Ruby plopped down next to Blake.

"Even if I did she doesn't swing that way..."

Blake put her hand on Ruby's Shoulder, "And you know that for a fact?"

"YES! She goes on dates with guys all the time..." Blake rolled her eyes again.

"That's doesn't necessarily mean she doesn't like girls."

Ruby's face turned even redder. "Still! We're just friends!" She tried to hide her face in her hands.

Suddenly the door was thrown open. "Sup fuckers!" Yelled Qrow as he and Yang stepped through the door. Blake and Ruby's eyes widened at the sight of her, they both got up and almost simultaneously tackle hugged Yang to the ground.

"Ow, ow, ow! Now! now girls, it still hurts." Yang's said as she stood up. They both apologize.

"Did you just get released?" Asked an excited Ruby.

"Yeah, yeah she did." Answered Qrow "How yah doing Little Red?"

Ruby turned a shade of lightish red. "I actually have a date tomorrow..."

Yang pushed past Qrow, like a herd of cattle. "My adorable baby sister has a date!? Who's legs do I have to break!?"

Blake walked in between the two with a smile. "No one, it's for class and it's The Ice Queen so you know nothing's going to happen."

A devilish smile formed on Yang's face. "Ooooo, Ruby's going to melt the Ice Queen's heart!" Yang started to poke Ruby with one hand and repeatedly mock Ruby..

"OMG! That's so cheesy! Uncle Qrow make her stop." Ruby wined as the two ran around the room.

"Alright, alright. That's enough, the girl need to get some sleep so she can be ready for her hot date tomorrow. " he said pointing at the clock which read 10:23 pm.

Ruby pouted. "But you guys just got here!"

Qrow patted her on the head. " I know, you'll see us tomorrow after your date." Ruby pouted harder. "Come on Goldilocks, let's take you to your room."

"See yah Kitty, Night Ruby! Yang said waving as her and Qrow walked out.

Once they made it to Yang's dorm room Yang gave Qrow a kiss on the cheek. "Sleep tight Uncle Qrow." He smiled, nodded and walked away.

Back in the dorm with Ruby and Blake, the two girl had gotten ready for bed. With Blake already fast asleep, Ruby sat anxiously in bed staring at the ceiling. She looked over at her charging phone and debated whether or not to mess around on it. After a few moments of thinking she picked it up and opened the message app and looked through the names. Blake, Qrow, Yang, Weiss and Taylor, she hovered over Weiss' name. "Well... I got nothing to lose."

R: Hey Weiss are you awake?

10 minutes later

W: Yeah, what do you want?

R: I just wanted to see how you're doing.

W: I am perfectly fine, but i'd be even better if I was asleep right now...

R: oh, sorry.

W: yeah

R: I'll let you go then, sweet dreams :)

Ruby put her phone back on her charger and laid her head back on the pillow, "hmm... It's going to be a long night." she whispered to herself....
