Weird Things

I do a lot of weird things. Most people do. I do some really weird stuff that most people don't do. For example:

1. I talk to the ghost in my room that may or may not exist.

The house I live in is kinda creaky. The house has also been owned by several people before my family, so I have no idea what kind of stuff has happened here. Sometimes I hear little creaks that sound like footsteps in my room (not fun). There are also the little shadows in my peripheral vision and in the reflection on my window flitting everywhere. There was also this time that a bag stood up on its own. That was REALLY fun. So, in hopes that the ghost will leave me alone and not kill me in my sleep, I will actually say things like "nope", "can you not", and "no" out loud and make sassy gestures and expressions in the general direction of the creaks.

2. I flick my finger tips.

Once upon a time, before I learned that I could crack my knuckles, I would flick all of my fingers as a nervous habit. So if I had to do a presentation *shudders*, I would probably be flicking my fingers the whole time if I wasn't holding note cards. I think it weirded a lot of people out when I just flicked my fingers over and over.

3. Instead of expressing emotion, I will crochet or some other random crap like that.

I have so many half-finished crochet projects lying around my room. Also, HO scale train models everywhere! Under my bed, on my desk, etc.

4. Even though I express little emotion, I am super sentimental.

Baby blanket with turtle on it. Piles of random rocks everywhere from random places but I refuse to get rid of them. Books that were crap but I still keep them on my bookshelf. Stuffed animals I don't really care about anymore. I have it all.

Yay for being a weirdo!

MY SOCIAL ANXIETY IS SO BAD I CAN'T CALL MY FRIENDS WITHOUT MY MOM GIVING ME A PEP TALK.
