Ian knew someone was in the house even before he got in. The front door was unlocked, and he walked right in. When he got in, he thought he heard shuffling upstairs, although it cut out as soon as Ian walked in the house. He walked into the kitchen and retrieved a large steak knife. Creeping up the stairs, he heard a door silently close. Ian now knew were to go: the bedroom. He went to the bedroom door and opened it, scanning the room. He crept over to the bed, ducked down, and looked under it. Nothing. Next, he tip toed to the closet. He put he hand on the knob, and flung it open. As soon as he did, he heard a scream of fear, and saw a young boy, maybe 13, in the closet. The boy kicked Ian in the knee, taking Ian off balance for a second. But then, the boy tried to punch Ian. Ian grabbed his hand flipped it over, and slashed the boys wrist. He screamed in pain, and Ian stabbed the boy in the head, and he dropped dead. He gave himself a chuckle, wondering how long until the boys parents would be home to find his bloodied body.
