Kurt sat on the front porch, staring out into the calm morning sky through his house window. He lived in a relatively quiet town, which waas nowhere he expected live, but it was a change for the better. He had Blaine with him, and the town keeps them out of trouble.
Their neighbours were nice, and every store was around the corner, making a very convient place for them to live. As Kurt continued to smiled at the window, Blaine walked into the tidy living room and felt his day brighten at the view of his one true love smiling.
"Kurt, I am going to work, the office called and there was an appointment set for today." said Blaine, striaghtening his tie. Kurt frowned a little and sighed.
"But it's saturday. " said Kurt. "It's okay. I get it, if my clients called I would have to leave too." Kurt smiled artificially at Blaine.
"I am so sorry. We can still go out for dinner." said Blaine, kissing Kurt on the cheek before leaving the house.
Kurt moved towards the dinner table and grabbed a file. He was a physisist, which means that work can be done at home as well. He studied at the university of Dalton, which was quite a neat place, especially since everyone accepted them.
It's very hard to find a place like that in his time. Back in his town of Ohio, he was often bullied by people around him, and he may turn out bitter if he hadn't met Blaine and escaped to the little town of Westerville with him.
Dalton also had a singing group, called the warblers, and Kurt and Blaine was often invited to join in.
Something that many people found a little odd was how young Kurt and Blaine are. They were only seventeen, but Kurt's smarts and Blaine's courage had them more mature than twenty year olds. It was easy for them to find a job and settle down in a town like this.
Kurt hummed and he added some notes to his work, remembering his tight schedule for work on monday. He had a new assistant to help him, which was always great. He attempted to solve his equation once more, and barely realised the time fly by before Blaine arrived home, looking tired and weary.
"Hi honey." said Blaine. It was clear that he was exsausted.
"Oh Blaine. We don't have to go to dinner." said Kurt, hiding his dissipointment.
"I still want to go to dinner with you." said Blaine, smiling slightly.
"Okay."
Kurt gave Blaine a hug and felt the boy lean in to the hug and sigh. Kurt was worried for Blaine, he was always working so hard so that they can keep on paying their bills and live a comfortable life, but it was so very unfair that the boy's childhood ended earlier than they should have. "I love you." said Kurt.
Atleast they were safe from their bullies.
"I love you too, Kurt."
The couple quickly moved to change into their respective suits and hopped into their car to drive to a fancy dinner restuarant. They cheered up at the thought of creme brulee and other foods. Kurt enthusiastically hopped off the car and into the restuarant when they arrived, Blaine quickly following behind, laughing kindly at Kurt's childishness. Blaine could never get sick of Kurt. He quickly latched onto Kurt's hand so he wouldn't fall behind.
"Blaine! Blaine! I want ice cream first!" said Kurt, jumping. Blaine smiled.
"What ever you want, dear." said Blaine, kissing Kurt lightly on the lips before asking for two seats. The waitress smiled them and complimented how adorable they were. Blaine and Kurt smiled, both thinking that the other was the adorable one.
"Blaine?" asked Kurt.
"Yes?" asked Blaine, lost in Kurt's eyes, food forgetten. Kurt blushed and pointed shly at another couple's child.
"Can we adopt a child? We could be the Hummel- Andersons." said Kurt, blushing.
Blaine was taken back. The couple weren't married, but they were in silent agreement that they might as well be, even if the law doesn't let them. They knew they would get married the moment the law allows gay marriage, but well...for now...
"If you want to. We can go to the adoption agency tomorrow. What do you think? " said Blaine, smiling.
The couple were holding hands across the table the whole meal as Kurt discussed their future. Blaine felt more and more sure that he wanted to be with Kurt all his life with every passing second.
It wasn't long before the day ended and the couple decided to go to sleep. Kurt kissed Blaine on the cheek before the couple fell asleep, donning smiles. In the morning Blaine woke up.

The other side of the bed was empty and the house felt distant. Blaine sighed sadly, feeling lonely like he always did in the morning. He struggled to find motiavation to continue his day, deciding that Kurt would want him to. Everything he saw reminded him of Kurt, the table, the window, the rocking chair that he always sat on.
Blaine put on his suit and striaghtened his tie before leaving the house and walking to work. He settled his first few clients cases and completed some extra cases. Lately, he's been quite a workaholic if he's not sulking.
Blaine squinted away from the light when he walked home. On his way back, he passed the resturant that Kurt and him always went to on saturday nights. He will never forget the night when Kurt talked to him about their futures. Even about adopting a child. Blaine looked away before getting home.
He opened the door and jammed it shut, eating dinner, brushing his teeth before going to bed as if he was a robot. That night, Blaine had a dream.
Kurt was beside him and the two were smiling at laughing, annebelle, their daughter, sitting on Kurt's lap. The couple shared a kiss before moving to start their work. They both had wedding rings on their fingers. When night came, Kurt and Blaine hired a nanny to take care of their child before going to the resturant.
They talked about their life right now and all the time Blaine couldn't stop thinking about Kurt's smile.
He missed Kurt so much. They were only twenty four and the car crash had killed his one true love.
