Ever since Kurt broke up with Blaine inseniorr high,  he was completely different.

He thought that they were forever, but their love apparently wasn't forever.

For the first few weeks, Kurt was just heartbroken, but as months passed by, he changed completely.

He wasn't Flamboyant anymore, not because he didn't want people to tease him. No. He could handle that. But ever since Blaine left Kurt, things looked different.

The world changed, and Kurt with it. Kurt started listening to punk or rock and roll songs, and they weren't that bad. He didn't dress fashionably anymore. He just wore plain T shirts and Jeans. He was in University studying for his degree in Med, and frankly, people were stunned when he visited Lima again.

It was hard to suspect that Kurt was who he was before.

Kurt made new friends, and they weren't like  his old friends, but they weren't like the jocks either.

They were all in his med school.

Kurt remembered the days when he remembered Blaine and broke down. His friends were there for him and they would all go for ice cream and watched chick flicks. No body questioned this. Even though they were striaght.

They didn't have a problem with gay people but Kurt didn't bother outing himself. He never really mentioned Blaine either, and they just assumed it was a girl.

All these years, Kurt missed Blaine. And before he knew it, he graduated med school and got his first job as a pyschologist.

July 2019

Kurt was singing in the shower in the early morning of that July. He was still in his house, but work started an hour later.

When Kurt finished showering he pulled on a shirt and jeans like any other day before brushing his teeth and washing his face. The streets of chicago could be seen through his window in his room. The air was misty, but it wasn't very different from any other day.

They tried facing global warming, but something messed up, and all they got was foggy mornings every week.

Kurt proceeded to wipe his face afterwards, and went down to eat cereal in silence. Through the walls, he could hear the morning rush.

He took out his iphone and earphones before listening to music.

When he moved to his Navigator, the iphone was going on to a long bought album of simple plan.

He drove through the streets before reaching his work place.

Walking in the hospital, he sighed in the prospect of work. He cared about his patients but it's stressful to take care of everyone's well being.

Today, as he was walking down the halls, he heard someone singing. Assuming it was one of his friends, he walked in.

"Everytime I see your face,

everytime you look my way,

it's like it all falls into place,

everything feels right."

Kurt laughed under his breath before another voice joined in.

"Everytime I hear your name,

everytime I feel the same,

It's like it all falls into place,

everything, everything feels right."

Kurt walked in.

"Gared?" Kurt asked.

A man walked out, and Kurt heard an intake of breath from someone else, probably the patient.

"Oh, hi! What are you doing here?" Gared asked, smiling.

"I heard you singing." Kurt said.

"Oh, I was with one of my patients." Gared said, before frowning, " Heartbreak."

"Oh." Kurt said.

There was a silence then-

"Do you want to come and help? Explore differnent aspects of med school?" Gared asked.

Gared dealt with people in depression, with addiction, and the list goes on forever.

'Sure." Kurt said, thinking really why not.

Gared led Kurt towards a patient and Kurt sat down.

The patient looked oddly familiar, but Kurt couldn't see because his head was down. It was a sad sight to see, because he was so insecure.

"We were singing, this man said it was a hobby of his." Gared said.

"Well that's really great. Why don't you continue on. I am Dr.Hummel." Kurt said.

The man in front of him suddenly froze before looking up slowly.

At first Kurt didn't recognize the man. But then Kurt's head begin to spin he observed the curley hair, eurasian feature and honey gold eyes. Then he thought about his voice, then gasped, trying to change it to a cough.

Gared laughed.

"So what do you say, Blaine?" He said.

Kurt's eyes widened, and Gared suddenly looked worried.

"Kurt, are you okay? You're kinda pale too." Gared whispered. Kurt was indeed pale.

"N-no! Let's continue on." Kurt choked out in an air of over exaggerated happiness.

"It's all I need, one more day with you." Blaine sang, the last line of the song, looking striaght at Kurt.

And Kurt remembered when they broke up.

It was three am when Blaine had broke up with Kurt over text. Kurt cried and was and wondered why he broke up with Blaine.

He remembered asking Blaine why, but Blaine would just leave until Kurt gave up.

"It was three AM..." Kurt said. There was silence, and Gared spoke up.

"I am guessing you know each other. You should figure things out, it would be a good step towards getting better." He said before leaving.

Kurt sat there, and Blaine sat in front of him.

"Blaine? Anderson?" Kurt asked.

Blaine slowly nodded.

"I still love you. I don't know whether it's important or not, just to get it out there, you know..." Kurt said. The silence was tense.

"I never stopped loving you." Blaine said.

Kurt looked deep into Blaine's eyes.

"Why then?" Kurt asked.

"Eli." Blaine said.

"I am sorry?" Kurt asked.

"I kissed him." Blaine said.

Kurt was confused. If Blaine cared, why did he kiss Eli?

"I was worried that you'd leave me, so I-I didn't refuse when he asked whether we wanted to hook up. I am so sorry." Blaine said, sobbing.

Kurt looked at Blaine.

He didn't feel any different, he stopped trusting Blaine a long time ago, and he doesn't have any trust for Blaine to lose,Blaine Anderson could only gain his trust.

"I forgive you." Kurt said.

"What?" Blaine asked.

Kurt smiled.

" I do." He said.

"C-can we start over?" Blaine asked.

"Everyday I had wished you'd say that, and my feelings had not changed at all." Kurt said, reaching over to take Blaine's hand.

" I know that the hospital halls are nothing like Dalton halls, but what do you saay we run through the hall?" He said. Blaine smiled.
