Ineffable (Camren)

Part Two

A/N: So this is the sequel/part two of Ineffable. The timeline is not in sequential order, nor are certain interviews at the time of when they were in real life and I've fast tracked their careers to where they're months away for releasing Reflection. It starts in August 2014 and I will be adding flash backs throughout the story in order for you to get a glimpse into their success over the last year. Enjoy!

In a year and a half Fifth Harmony had accomplished more than they ever dreamt of. They spent a short time on the road with Ed Sheeran in order to gain a fan base — to which they greatly succeeded. Then they spent more time on the road on their Harmonize America Mall Tour. Their lives had changed dramatically after that. Their mornings were early and their nights were sleepless.

They had spent the last eight months in the studio, preparing their full length album that their fans had been waiting for since the Ed Sheeran tour. Their EP had been a success, charting relatively high and receiving global responses from fans and even other artists.

Their debut single Miss Movin' On was so successful they had been asked to perform on several morning talk shows. None of them had anything to complain about so far. They were all living their dreams they barely had time to blink and soak up the moment.

It would always hit them at about eight o'clock, when they'd return to the house and finally be surrounded in silence. Most of their nights were spent in isolation, considering they spent every second of the day together. It wasn't that they were sick of each other, but they desperately desired the peaceful calm they used to neglect in high school. They were barely able to have a quiet moment to themselves due to their fast paced lifestyles.

They were able to go home once in that time, for Christmas. Of course the girls couldn't stay away from each other too long and brought all of their families together.

Camila couldn't believe it. She stood in the booth of the studio to re-record her part in Sledgehammer. When Lauren presented the song to Stuart he practically threw her and the girls in the booth to record it. Lauren was chuffed that something she'd written in high school about a girl that was right beside her would invade the ears of people around the world. She hoped it would do well.

Camila hummed into her microphone as she waited for her cue. She thought about everything that occurred in the past eighteen months for the tenth time that day. And even when she reminisced about her girl groups success, her mind always wandered back to the morning after her and Lauren slept together.

"Girls," Clara spoke softly, "can I talk to you downstairs please."

Lauren and Camila had been snuggled up in bed until nine the next morning. They hadn't considered the morning after, because they were still stuck in the euphoria of the previous night. So when Lauren's mom entered the room, noticing the two naked teenagers tangled up in bed together, they both instantly knew nothing good could come of this.

When Clara left them to get dressed, Camila noticeably started panicking, picking up her clothes from the floor and placing her top on backwards. Lauren got out of bed and approached her, raising her arms to hug Camila, but the shorter girl shook her head rapidly, ordering Lauren to get dressed as well.

"Camz please, it's going to be okay."

"Just get dressed Lauren, I don't want to make your mom angrier than she already is," Camila replied irritably, picking up Lauren's shirt and tossing it to her. Lauren frowned and got dressed in silence.

When they were finished they headed downstairs and Lauren sighed in relief as she was met with just her mom and not her dad too. Clara was intimidating, Camila had known this since the day she tried to convince her and Lauren's dad that Lauren's dreams of becoming a musician were valid.
