It took three days till Ann gave Clockwork the all clear and she could get up. Clockwork pulled herself to her feet and made her way to the Door. It creaked open even before she touched it which made her very uncomfortable. She walked out into the hallway and was surprised to see the long corridor filled with doors upon doors upon doors. She shuffled down the hallway nervously. Once she made it to the stairs she relaxed. It seemed as though it was just herself, Ann and Sally in this house.
She wandered down the stairs and into the living room and almost fainted at the sight. About a dozen other people sat in there. Everyone there looked odd. Like the boys in the corner who spoke to each other quietly, each wore a mask one was quiet feminine the second had a dark red frown painted onto a black canvas. Another 3 boys say together on the couch playing video games, a link looking boy, a pale boy with deep slits in his cheeks pulling into a smile and a boy in a blue mask. That was only to name five of the dozen.
When Clockwork thought it couldn't get weirder a girl dropped from the ceiling, landing on her feet. She wore a black, white and red clownish dress with a frilly collar, and thigh high black and white striped stockings. She didn't display shoes with her outfit but her hair was pulled into pigtails. Her face was coated in paint or perhaps it was tattoos. The paint showed black circles just under her eyes with a line travelling from her bottom eyelid down to the dot, pink circles dusted her cheeks and a heart shape of black covered her lips slightly. Her eyes were painted black around them in a huge circle. Her eye twisted into a black white spiral and the other was a bright blue. Scars tugged from the corners of her lips up into an eternal smile.
"Clockwork." The clownish girl smiled.
"Who are you? Why do you know my name" clockwork replied.
"My name is Guilt. And I've heard about you, all over the news!" Guilt retorted and pointed to the TV. Guilt was short, just about five foot tall and Clockwork was five foot two.
A dog ran in, trailing blood behind it and slammed right into Clockwork, knocking her to the ground. The pale boy stood up and the room fell silent.
"Smile" his voice was stern and the dog barked loudly, continually.
"Smile! Chillax holy crap" The pale boy calmed the dog down. "What do you want?" He asked the red and black dog which ran out of the room and returned with a lead.
"Seriously? A walk?!" The pale boy sighed out in frustration. "Smile I can't I have better things to do than go with you alone walking in that damn woods" he explained. He seemed so strange, talking to a dog like it was human.
"I'll go with you!" Guilt offered. "So will Clockwork!" She told with obviously no choice. Clockwork was going rather she wanted to or not.
The boy smirked. "If you say so" He tide the lead to the dogs collar. "I'm Jeff by the way, this thing here" he motioned to The dog. "Is SmileDog or just Smile." He explained as he helped her up.
"Clockwork" she dusted herself off.
