Clockwork ran in a haphazard and wobbly fashion towards Masky and Toby and where Ann once stood. She dropped to her knees in front of Ann, Ann's deep rust coloured hair cascading over her greyish coloured face shielding them all from the bloody gashes across her throat and face.
Masky shoved his mask back and allowed it to rest on top of his head. He dropped down to Ann's other side and gripped her hand in his.
"Ann! Wake up! Now isn't the time to collapse on me! We're supposed to be a team, remember?!" He shouted at the life less body.
"Ann do you hear me?! We're a team now get up! Get up! Please get up!" He yelled again, tears streaming down his cheeks as he pulled her close to his chest and nuzzled into her red hair.
"Please wake up Ann.. Please wake up." He sobbed as he held her so tightly you could see the white in his knuckles and fingers from the pressure he put on her upper arm.
Everything fell silent besides the sobs of Masky. Clockwork looked to Slenderman in disbelief. Ann couldn't be dead, could she? Slenderman was shielding Sally from the sight.
For the first time in what seemed like so long Clockwork felt something, not just the pain from the burned in marks on her ankles or the soon-to-be bruise on her spine from where she collided with the cabinet. She felt more than just pain. She felt angry and upset and so broken. She knew exactly what she would do.
She forced herself back onto her feet and stumbled a little more towards Toby and Masky.
"We aren't going to let this death be in vain." Clockwork turned to the others. "No one will kill one of our own and get away with their lives. I repeat No one." She raised her voice.
Toby joined her side. His hair still messy from the wind, brown hair in curls overlapping itself. Masky took a moment before laying Ann back down on the floor and standing up by Clockworks side, the young woman's blood staining his sweater. He beckoned to Hoodie, who joined his side with no hesitation.
"We will set out by morning and take what they do not deserve. We will avenge the one lost." Clockwork explained. "No death will ever be in vain." She turned and walked away from the kitchen and walked briskly up the stairs and through the hall, back to her baron room for her final night of rest before they set out for vengeance.

The picture above is not my art, the credit goes to the creator which I tried to find and could not. So I'm very sorry about that. I can't wait to introduce some more interesting characters, most of which are not my own but I haven't tried to write with who I have planned.
