Several days had passed and clockwork had gotten to know quite a bit about them all.
For instance she found out that Jeff had been bullied in his life and Toby had a serious case of Tourette's.
Everyone here seemed so fictional, like stories with no end, only people you find if stories that are created to chill you through your skin.
Clockwork currently laid in her bed, contemplating leaving and staying and absentmindedly staring at the ceiling. She hadn't heard the door creak open nor had she seen the young girl creep into her room. Why would she be up so late at such a young age?
The thing that pulled the brunette out of her distant thoughts and back to reality was when she felt the blankets being tugged and the small body pressing down on the bed. Clockwork glanced over to the smaller brunette, rust coloured blood straining her petite face. She would have been a beautiful young girl if she hadn't experienced that night alone with her uncle.
Clockwork placed a gloved hand on the girls mop of hair and ruffled it slightly, it tangling itself around her fingers. A small hum erupted from Sally's lips as she relaxed completely and closed her eyes, drifting into a deep slumber and inhaling Clockworks scent. She smelled of Cinnamon and pine trees, a unique mixture, but Sally loved it. She also loved how warm Clockwork was.***
That night sadly was the time when everything had taken a turn for the worst...
