''Step back!'' now the guy was pointing the knife towards Ethan, but Ethan did something that made me stop breathing for a second.

I would've laughed at that guy's expiration if we weren’t in this kind of situation right now, fear had field his eyes, his face is now pale, he looked like he wanted to pee in his pants or something, now that I take a good look at him, he's skinny and wearing black cloths from top to bottom, messed up black hair, he's most likely 16 or maybe 15, looks like he's just at the wrong place at the wrong time getting caught up with wrong people like the guy holding me by my upper arm.

The minute that idiot Ethan grabbed the blade of the knife, the guy unconsciously let it go, now Ethan had the knife but still holding it from the blade, he threw away, that guy's hand was still hanging in the air, from the shock probably, Ethan took that chance and grabbed it, with his bloody hand.

Ethan turned to look at me right in the eyes, trying to tell me something, which I understood in matter of seconds, but I noticed that the guy holding Paige let go of her arm and moved his hand to trap her neck, maybe she was struggling to much, I need to get this over with, and fast.

I freed my arm from the hold of this stupid master planer of this group of bad boys wanna be, as soon as my hand was freed I turned and punched him in the stomach, then I kicked his little buddy, he held it from pain, but this was far from being over, I dropped into the ground and placed my hand on the ground and did a round kick, now this wanna be guy was lying on the ground unconscious, I glared at his sleeping face, that’s what he gets for messing with my friends and trying to hurt them.

I heard someone whistle, I turned around to find Ethan standing next to Hailey smirking, and the skinny guy was now lying unconscious on the ground too.

''That was impressive Jules'' I noticed that he was hiding his injured hand behind his back, but that wasn’t the only thing I noticed, the third guy was still holding paige by the neck.

''So what about you buddy?'' Ethan asked, after noticing what I was glaring at.

''wha.. no.. I'm.. I'm so sorry'' he let go of her, so Paige dropped on the ground from the lack of oxygen maybe, but the guy ran in the other direction, not caring for his two comrades lying on the ground.

''J.. Julie'' I turned around to be attacked by a bone crushing hug from Hailey, I was about to give her one of my comments about her hugs, but I noticed that she was crying.

I patted her on her back, and that seem to calm her down a little, my gaze turned towards Paige who was now on her feet gazing at the ground and rubbing her neck, it must still hurt. She had a descent look in her eyes, I smiled sadly on how she's trying to keep her act together.

''Paige'' she didn’t answer the first time, so I called her again, Hailey was still crying on my shoulder.

''hmm?'' she gave me a confused look, but I can see from the look in her eyes she was still a little scared.

''Come here'' I opened my other arm for her, I'm not a huggy person, but I can see that both of them really need it.

Without any other word she came and I gave her a hug, I'm just glad things turned out to be okay in the end, it could've been far worse, neither of them got hurt, but Paige might have a bruise on her neck, it should be gone in a few days though, but something clicked.
