Sam's POV

I look at Dean curiously as he follows Vil out without word.  I turn back to Ruby who's still supporting her broken nose.  Man, Dean was right, she could hit hard, well I'm never underestimating Vil again.  "Sorry about that, she isn't in the best mood, she just recently got pulled out of a crappier life then Dean and I and then she just killed the guy who is the reason she's the last of her kind, and Cas came just before and attacked her unprovoked." I apologise and explain,
"Couldn't even sense a good monster right from under his nose, stupid angel." Ruby scoffs, well, at least this saved you the knife thing." She continues, I shake my head,
"Not tonight Ruby, I'm ok." I resist,
"But are your powers-?" She questions,
"They're fine, but, while you're here what's the status on Lillith?" I insist and ask,
"I'm guessing you already know that 28 seals have been broken." She says in a bored tone,
"Yeah, what's the next one shes going to try and break?" I ask,
"Haven't got that far , anything else or can I go?  I gotta get my nose fixed up." She complains,
"Yeah, sure, bye Ruby." I reply,
"Bye Sam." She says before disappearing.  I open the door to where I see Dean and Vil talking, the both stop and turn around when I open the door,
"She's gone then?" Dean asks,
"How'd you know?  Were you listening?" I ask,
"I wasn't, Vil has good hearing.  I wanted to know what was going on in there." Dean answers matter-of-factly, and Vil shrugs like 'sorry but, I don't trust demons', I shrug back like 'alright fair enough'.  The three of us walk back into the hotel room and Vil speaks up,
"Well, I don't know about you two but I'm ready to retire for the night.  Night boys." Vil says and heads to her room.  Sleep does sound pretty good about now,
"Night Vil." Dean and I say in sync as she does,
"That's actually not a bad idea.  Night Sammy." Dean says as he walks to his room,
"Night Dean." I say as I head into my room.

Dean's POV

I wake up and get dressed getting ready to leave town before questions are asked.  I walk into the small sitting area where Sam's in his laptop,
"Vil not up yet?" I asks to which Sam responds with a head shake,
"Should probably go wake her up." Sam suggest, I nod and go to her bedroom door and knock,
"Vil? You up? We're gonna head off before we get involved with the cops." I say, no response, maybe she's a heavy sleeper.  I walk in and first thing I realise is that she's not there, SHIT, where'd she go?  I run over to the window, shut tight, damn! "Son of a bitch!" I yell in frustration and see a small bundle on the bed move, wait, what?  On closer inspection I see the small lump, I gently pull back the covers to find a small brown curled up bundle of leathery wings and soft fur that's uncurling.  Vil peeps her head out from under her wing and blinks the sleepiness away, sits up when she sees me and changes into her human form,
"Sorry, give you a scare did I?" She asks with a slight tone of 'why so stressed about it?'
"Thought you ran off, you did try and sneak off the other night." I say matter-of-factly,
"Only to draw Quanrus away from here." She says a bit too defensively,
"You were thinking that either you'd die in the struggle or once your done just take off." I say seriously,
"Maybe..., oh alright I was, but only cause my presence was causing conflict between you and Sam and I didn't want that." She answers honestly.  Even though I was drunk I could see in her eyes that she really was willing to just nick off wasn't and exactly to concerned of the fact of possible death, I think that's what made me make her go back inside knowing full well that that careless state of mind leads to, bad things.  But why did she just back down and did what I said, she could have easily over powered me and nicked off, why didn't she?
"You were going to take off just cause you didn't want Sammy and me fighting?" I ask curiously,
"I could sense there was already tension between you two, it wasn't hard, specially the way you yelled at him when I not on purposely revealed I'm a vamp, no one yells like that unless there was already some ground to it.  Besides, Sam had already got me out of there, I really wasn't planning on staying long anyway, he agreed that once I found somewhere where I could live my life in peace I'd say my goodbyes." She calmly explains,
"Why? Why don't you just stay, I'm sure that you'd be much safer travelling with hunters, specially us Winchesters." I ask, so Sammy's just trying to help her get on her feet?  He doesn't actually plan on having her stay with us from now on,
"Cause, A, from what I heard, you guys already have enough on your plate without lugging around a refugee vamp, B, do you really want me around? I ain't exactly a ray of sunshine." She says honestly,
"What keeping Lucifer from poppin' out of his box?  Nah it's fine, we aren't lugging you around, you're comin' along for the ride and at least you're not out to kill us and vise versa, as far as hunters and supernatural creatures-" I start,
"You can say monster it's alright cause I know I am." She interrupts,
"No not really, the only thing that makes you a monster is the decisions you make, you decided that you wouldn't even drink animal blood, that proves you're not a blood sucking killer but I'm not saying you're a softy oh no you kicked real ass when you saved Sammy and me, how many vamps did you slice through before you got to us?" I say encouragingly then asks,
"Fair few, but honestly, call me a monster, I don't care nor do think I'm one, it's just A it's less of a mouthful, B why should I have a problem with it if I know deep down I'm not evil?" She replies,
"Fair enough fair enough, I guess sleeping as a bat is more comfortable?" I ask,
"Oh that? That's just what happens when I go to sleep, go to sleep in human form, wake up a bat, so I just let it be, it is actually quite cozy yeah." She replies with a small smile, "So, we're off now? Where now?" She continues,
"Where ever the road takes us, yep, be ready in a min." I say standing up,
"I'm ready now, all my property is on me." She says as she puts on her leather jacket and pulls out her sunglasses from a pocket,
"Alright then, Sammy! We're good to go." I call out to which he responds with 'ok I'll be in the car'.  Vil and I soon join and I put on some AC/DC and drive off out of town and far from it too.
