Where's Maddie?

"What do you mean Maddie isn't here?" I asked Melissa.

"She's grounded, so I didn't let her come," Melissa said.

I'm so fed up with Melissa. Of course, I'm angry at Maddie, but we have a competition this weekend, and she still needs to be here. Thank god the cameramen aren't here this week to film.

"I'm considering not letting her go to competition," Melissa told me.

"Are you kidding me?? Absolutely NOT!" I snapped.

"Maybe it's just not a good idea..."

"Listen to me, Melissa," I said. "As long as no one knows about this besides you, me, Jill, Gianna, and the three girls we should be fine. But Maddie never misses dance. It's going to cause suspicion with the other moms and the producers."

"Alright. I'll make sure the girls and Jill don't say anything, and I'll say Maddie is sick," Melissa replied.

"Good." Melissa left to the dressing room.

I shook my head to myself. Maddie should have been smarter than this. I already didn't like her having a boyfriend, but this went way too far.

Maddie and I are going to have a long, fun talk tomorrow.
